I don't remember the last time I ever felt so scared for a family member's life before. Tuesday, May 21, 2013. Canning with Weck Jars. One of my first projects was to can pineapple. If you're bored with this post already, you don't have to keep reading but I thought I'd explain the process a little. First, I cut the eyes out of the pineapple in a diagonal shape. This allowed me to keep more of the meat portion of the fruit. Next I cut out the core, chopped it into pieces and put it aside. Then chopped up the fruit and put it in a larger bowl. Then I filled the jars tightly with the fruit.

Nathan taught me some 3-D modeling he learned in one of his classes. Of course, I use the cheapest version there is while Nathan got the nearly $4000 Maya program from school for free.
