Nathaniel, Felicity, William, Cameron, and Baby Andrew. Wednesday, February 29, 2012. We LOVE all the little animal and nature parks that are in nearly every town here. Another favorite (to the one behind our house) is a free bird park in a town next to ours. Sizing up the geese. Not a great shot- but see that goose's tail? What a fancy goose. :). William was. grumpy this trip. haha! It was a very cold day, and that did not sit will with him, apparently. Cool bird, right? These things are huge- and scary.

Nathaniel, Felicity, William, Cameron, and Baby Andrew. Thursday, January 02, 2014. We Wish You A Merry Christmas. Oh yeah. remember when I blogged? It just seems like it is something so very low. On the priority list. but then browsing through old blog posts makes me so happy! So I better try to get this going again. :). We got a tree this year- first time in three or four years we bought a full sized tree (rather than a table-top size tree). Andrew did a terrific job decorating this branch!

It was cold, but a fun way to get out of the house! Happiness is rocks to climb on. Keepin the little one steady. :). Snack break with cousin O. He was annoyed I wouldn't let him pee in the woods (with the nat'l park guide right behind us. otherwise I would have. haha! Looking for "bish" in the water. She was so good! 1/7/14, 11:23 AM.

Monday, March 31, 2014. We made it on the plane. This is a really charming hotel. Wow, we are right downtown. I think I slept on a yoga mat, that bed is hard. GINGER AT THE BEACH! There is nothing wrong with applying sunscreen with a butter knife. It's nice to spend time with that one guy I live with, what's his name again? I'm still recovering from jet lag. :). I thought I was dreaming, but it was real life. I'm still not over the euphoria of my shark dive. Arrrrgh, let's explore the pirate museum.

Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Fieldwork, part 2 and then some. Our second fieldwork day was at the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History. We took a nice and LONG bus ride, SCHOOL bus ride to DC. February 1, 2015. My "Shake it Off" Parody Video! The idea for this parody came to me in the wee hours of the morning after being up all night with a sick child. So we know it's totally normal (haha). I'm glad this one stuck and I just love my friends and family for humoring me and playing along. It's all about the battles of getting our kids to eat, or at least taste what's on their plate. I hope you like it! March 1, 2009. Facebook has turned me into a stalker. I ditched my blog for. Sort of sounds like a subdued form of stalking? That's because it is. On Facebook, you stay connected with your own circle of "friends," i.e., everyone you've met in your life that you don't mind following your every move with bated breath (friends like me). Furthermore, by accepting your friendship, these chums have extended to you the same invitation: Frisk me, baby. Still, does this type of behavior seem odd to anyone else?

From the Basement
We don't actually live in a basement anymore. Thursday, June 11, 2015. A few days ago, I took Summer to her ice skating lesson while Nathaniel had lunch with a friend.
