I know there has been a big absence from me, however I guess now is as good a time as any to get back on the horse. I haven't posted because I couldn't post anything new without talking about Rudy. I have sat down multiple times to type, but in the end nothing was on the page. So here goes. I apologize in advance for the rambling nature of this post. Back from a break.

In the last week since he's been gone I've thought about him and would get emotional but before I was through I would end up laughing. I've heard the phrase "my man" in my head a ton because that was how he started almost every conversation with me. He was a true "gem" that will definitely be missed, but left a great legacy in 3 daughters and 4 grandkids. God Bless you, Durrell Hudson!

Sunday, May 26, 2013. Our party of 3 became a party of 4 about 4 weeks ago at 7:44 am Ella Kate is thrilled. Why was I so worried about her? She thinks he's great. She says he's "adorable", "so nice", and "so cute". Bradley and I are amazed that a baby can be so easy. He sleeps! We're off to spend the afternoon with some long lost friends of ours and their baby girl. And back to the beach with some great friends tomorrow. I need a nap, but I have all summer, right? Saturday, September 8, 2012. July 18th - I was working on some crafty things with paint and Charlie just HAD to paint too so we set everything up for these boys to connect with their creative sides. Here are the finished products. Summer days at the pool. My boys LOVE the pool! We have access to the neighborhood pool and tried to take advantage of it as much as we could this summer. Charlie was working on his swimming skills and got pretty good! June 26th - Don't you just wish you could sleep this good?

We rented Diary of a Wimpy Kid, turned out all the lights and finished off 3 bags of popcorn. On Sat, we went fishing in the lake in front of Granmommies house taking advantage of the slight break in the 100 degree temps we have been experiencing.
