Every year, we would always set up our Christmas Tree in varying places within our living room before the days turned December. It is a very old plastic-made ornament which stands at around five feet tall, meaning it stands higher than my mom and our house-help. Before, it also stood taller than all three of us siblings before age took us above it, one by one. Anyway, it’s still Christmas, and nothing has changed. It’s still my favorite holiday and the happiest time of the year. :). Image is from here.

Walking away from the raucous background, I ambled towards this lone wooden bench that faced the vast unending ocean. There was no one nearby close enough to distract my trail of thoughts, and the wind continuously drew the waters to the shore. While sitting on the bench, I dipped my feet onto the sand, which remarkably felt like silk. Recently, I bought a kit from Stacey Trock for a Valentine version of her famous pattern Nelson the Owl (the link in the caption goes to the pattern's Ravelry page). I'm really excited because this is my first Nelson and he's 100% wool! Such a worthy investment in buying the kit. I'm even considering putting beads around the heart that will go on his chest!
