Chicken with Mother’s Head! Mother is being intentionally silly here, explaining where the chicken breasts and chicken broth is for me to give our cat Bloomers, or “Bloomie”. Bloomie had fatty liver disease and was being maintained and treated, but in the process would eat nothing but baked chicken, so we had to keep a constant supply going. Happy Mother’s Day! May 9, 2010 at 2:17 pm. Here is an adorable sequence of pictures she drew as a thank you for the Mother’s Day gift I gave her in 1997– a day of doing whatever chore was needed,no matter how bizarre or painstaking, no questions asked. I took care of all the cats, ran errands, vacuumed, and folded laundry. I also was contacted by John Moxon, who runs a site ALSO called Notes From Mother. He suggested we do a tag team post.😀. He has some great stuff there, too–check it out!

My retirement journey in the woods. Sunday, November 19, 2017. Christmas Tree Skirt - Finished! I had purchased Cindi Edgerton's Trim the Tree. It was paper pieced which I generally love to do. The actual pieces while time consuming worked up nicely. Once I got two done, I was inspired to finish the other six. And, once the eight were complete I was very excited!
