Paging Dr. Boardman…. My account of what I'm doing, where I'm headed and why. Drinking from the Fire Hydrant →. May 1, 2012. I posted a while back about my experience of meeting my cadaver. I think this service really helped us as students show our appreciation to the families; however, it was also a very beneficial service for the families of the donors. I spoke with one lady after the service and emailed her some pictures. She replied and thanked me, and in her email said:. May 1, 2012 at 8:52 pm.

Paging Dr. Boardman…. My account of what I'm doing, where I'm headed and why. True Life – I’m a Hypochondriac. January 25, 2012. You know the phrase you are what you eat? In medical school, that saying turns into you have what you study. All med students at one point or another turn into hypochondriacs, and it’s not a pretty sight. Paging Dr. Bad
Paging Dr. Bad. This is Bad.Dr. Bad. Monday, September 7, 2009. Clearly having your PhD doesn't always mean you can or should be teaching. Other people are just douches. I'm still wondering why some people enter a profession that revolves around helping others if they clearly only care about themselves. Thankfully these sorts of things are the exception rather than the rule. When I hear my classmates cracking on these same people, I get a little warm and tingly inside. Tuesday, June 30, 2009. The doctor ...

Paging Dr. Dingle
Paging Dr. Dingle. Reflections and Reverence on Medical School. And your Mom. Sunday, January 7, 2018. In July, a friend died. Our shared experience lives on, but without him it seems duller. Joe lived a life that I could never put into words. He spoke a language of crafted asides that made him famous. He had many more words to pen before his untimely death. While I knew that Joe had two siblings and was the son of a "fish counter," (or worshiper, is it wrong? Wednesday, August 30, 2017. JUST KIDDING....

Friday, October 3, 2008. On the wards . finally! I'm finally a wards resident! We had a junior resident retreat a few weeks ago so that people could share the highs and lows of being promoted to resident. As I've had 6 weeks of elective and 2 weeks of vacation during the first 3 months of this year, my colleagues joked that they were trying to keep me away from the new interns! 1 I believe in the duty hours limits. Interns have to leave the hospital after 30 hours if not sooner! Wednesday, August 20, 2008.
