Grandma Spencer's Gingerbread Cookies. 1 cup shortening or butter. 1 egg (optional- mom says not to use). 2/3 cup hot water or buttermilk. 3 t baking soda. 1 t baking powder. Approx 5 cups flour. Mix sugar, butter, add other items until soft. Roll it with the homies. Bake at 375 degrees for 5 minutes. Makes approximately 4 1/2 dozen round cookies. 3 3/4 cups powdered sugar. 1 1/2 t. light corn syrup. Mix all and put in ziplock bag, snip corner and pipe onto cookies.

From allrecipes.com Original recipe HERE. 1/2 cup white sugar. 1 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips. 1/2 t vanilla extract. 2/3 cup all-purpose flour. 1/4 t baking soda. 1 Preheat over to 325 degrees F. Tightly wrap the ear in a sheet of foil. Repeat with each ear of corn. Put ⅓ cup of water in the bottom of a slow cooker. Place each foil-wrapped ear of corn into the slow cooker. Wednesday, October 28, 2015. Slow Cooker Creamy Black Bean Chicken Chili. This recipe was actually called a soup but after cooking it seemed more like a chili. Ryan and Kinsey both liked it. Em didn't want to try it. 2 chicken breasts (uncooked). 1 cup chicken broth. 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed. 1 can corn, drained. 1 package taco seasoning. 1/2 cup sour cream (optional). 1/2 cup cheddar cheese (optional). Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3. Remove chicken and shred. Re-add chicken.

It was such a great experience, and a super fun girls trip! Wish I had more pictures of the actual show, but oh well what can you do! We stayed in St. George the first night. we had a dance party, and a fun time in the hotel room. Sophie is the only person. I even bothered taking pictures of on the 4th, she is so pretty.
