2 1/2 cups cake flour (not self- rising), sifted. 2 tablespoons unsweetened Dutch-process cocoa powder. 1 1/2 cups sugar. 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil. 2 large eggs, room temperature. 1/2 teaspoon red gel-paste food color. 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract. 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda. 2 teaspoons distilled white vinegar. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line standard muffin tins with paper liners. Whisk together cake flour, cocoa, and salt. To finish, use a small offset spatula to spread cupcakes with frosting.

Vanilla Mini Cake Recipe:. Butter 5 1/2 tbsp. Sugar 1 1/4 cup sugar. Good quality vanilla 1 tsp. Plain all-purpose flour 1 1/2 cups. Full cream milk 1 1/2 cups. Baking powder 1 tbsp. Pre-heat your oven to 375 degrees : ). 1 In a mixer with a paddle attachment cream the butter sugar just until combined. 2 Add the dry ingredients: flour baking powder salt. 3 Alternate the wet ingredients into the mixer: milk eggs vanilla milk. 4 Scoop batter into cupcake pans fitted with cupcake papers about 2/3 full.

My food journal. 52 weeks of creativity, cooking and clarity. Little bit of everything. Week 24: Cream Caramel Cake. June 16, 2014. This is a really simple recipe. For the cake, you need, 4 eggs, 100g castor sugar and 100g cake flour. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Beat the eggs and sugar until it is thick and creamy. Sift the flour into the egg mixture. With a metal spoon, gently fold the flour in making an 8 shape. Pour mixture into 2 23cm cake tins and place in the oven for 15-20 minutes.
