parsley and paper: Let's talk Chowda - Boston, MA
http://parsleyandpaper.blogspot.com/2009/09/lets-talk-chowda-boston-ma.html
Let's talk Chowda - Boston, MA. New England Clam Chowder at the Barking Crab Restaurant. Home to the Freedom Trail, Hester Prynne, and some serious New England clam chowder, Boston is a pescaphile's paradise. Perched on Fort Point Channel, The Barking Crab Restaurant. Is an iconic seafood shack in Boston. The menu focuses on fresh seafood, of course. And not a dish did disappoint. Beer in Boston seems only appropriate; I began with the Ipswich Ale. Pass the Parsley: Suspense
http://passtheparsley.blogspot.com/2010/07/suspense.html
I will keep you in suspense a little longer regarding the creatures in my previous blog post. Today I want to introduce you to the roots of parsley plants. These are often quite strange looking objects, somewhat like the most interesting intelligent life forms on the nearest planet to your own, dear earth creature. You may never have seen a white carrot, but you may like to experience the taste of parsley root. It is sometimes a species more like a normal vegetable rather than an alien creature:. There w...
Pass the Parsley: Chinese Parsley Is Not Chinese
http://passtheparsley.blogspot.com/2009/07/chinese-parsley-is-not-chinese.html
Chinese Parsley Is Not Chinese. I grow Chinese parsley but I call it coriander. If you are an American person, whether from the northern continent or the central area or South America, you might call Chinese parsley by its Spanish name of cilantro. I will call it coriander, though, from its original Greek. Are you confused? Wise Geek on Chinese Parsley. There are now thirty posts in this blog and they are all on the topic of parsley. Do you know any parsley people? Find out more about a parsley parcel.
Pass the Parsley: Will you Leaf some comments?
http://passtheparsley.blogspot.com/2013/03/will-you-leaf-some-comments.html
Will you Leaf some comments? Do you know any good parsley jokes? I am particularly fond of puns and sprigs of wisdom. Unfortunately, most of the parsley jokes I have found during my research on earth are of the crudest and rudest kind and not at all suitable good citizens of the universe. A good joke always upholds the dignity of people, and parsley, and aliens. And so does a good comment. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Greetings from Your Professor - A Suitably Green Being. You may have heard something about genetic modification. Also known as genetic engineering. You may also know something about an illness called anaemia. Have you ever eaten a banana. Perhaps it would be easier and cheaper, and perhaps even safer and healthier, to grow and eat parsley, whether fresh or dried. Look at the wonderful resources here at. And you will find plenty of ideas on helping the world to be healthier and more peaceful. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). A quiet, thoughtful sort of chap.
Pass the Parsley: Cultural Parsley - part one
http://passtheparsley.blogspot.com/2014/12/cultural-parsley-part-one.html
Cultural Parsley - part one. Culture is something for which humans have been known for some time now. What does it mean? What is its purpose? Does culture serve any use at all? You may know that I am a professor from another part of the universe. You may also know that I have been sent here for two reasons, namely:. 1 To acquire some expertise of my own choosing on one small aspect of planet Earth, namely parsley. 2 To assess the abilities. Of an unusual species, self-described as wise, namely humans.
Pass the Parsley: Latin Lessons with Mr Parsley
http://passtheparsley.blogspot.com/2009/07/latin-lessons-with-parsley.html
Latin Lessons with Mr Parsley. Did you learn Latin at school? At primary school I was only taught a Japanese song. That was the extent of my childhood language training, except for English. I have no idea how to pronounce Latin words but learning the official names of species can be useful, as anyone who has been following this blog will know. Here are some for starters:. Learn more about parsley with Linda Gilbert. Learn more about cow parsley with Fennel and Fern. Gratias ago vos pro saluto is. Flouris...

Pass the Parsley: Parsley Photography
http://passtheparsley.blogspot.com/2009/07/parsley-photography.html
It was my plan to have a rest from writing this Pass the Parsley. Blog, but there are so many interesting parsley topics yet to explore that I am here again. You may have noticed that there are very few photographs so far on this particular blog, the reason being that there are only so many ways to take a picture of a parsley plant. A few days ago, I bought myself a 10 megapixel camera. You may think of me as being a mega pixie, though if you do, I would urge you to read my Sprigs of Wisdom. Peace on Par...

An Italian family in Suzhou. Sunday, June 22, 2014. TCK AND REAL LIFE. This morning my daughter woke up telling me: “I had a dream. I dreamed that I was in Italy with my Chinese class and I told to my friend: this is my real. I have looked at her, thoughtful. She is almost 6 years old, she is living in China since two years. But, for her, “real home” is still Italy. What makes a place your place. The first memories of your life? And how about my son, who was 2 ½ years old when we come to China? But in th...

The earthy adventures of Parsley, Oregano, Sir Cakealot, Weasel, Winks, Smethwick, Beeyarna Man, and THE CHICKENS. Sunday, 24 June 2012. Dear units, I have become a slob. A slob in so many ways! I wholeheartedly blame the rain which has seemed endless, crushing the dreams of a superabundant garden under its sodden heel. The wind too. Ghastly gale force winds, having snapped off more than one of my sunflowers. Bastard! So yes, I'm sure everyone's been feeling the gloom. Oregano: 'Apparently if you lay dow...
