Friday, February 1, 2013. Better late than never. Our friend and doula, Erika met up with us to take some family photos. She also snapped some (almost) 6 month photos of just you. It was a chilly day but we had so much fun at St. Anthony Main and even stopped in a cafe for some hot coffee and a visit with Erika and Grandma Rasmusson, who joined us later. Sometimes you just have to eat it. Monday, March 8, 2010. Scoops and kicks and monkey cheeks. Liam's Backfloat Baby 2 swim class ends on Thursday. Next week he will move up to Backfloat Baby 3. He has come a long way since the first session in September (ironically called Backfloat Baby 1). Now when we get to the pool, we have to restrain him from jumping in until his class starts. I cried when I dropped him off at his jump start program for school to prepare for 6th grade. I cried when I dropped him off for his first football practice. I cried when I dropped him off on his first day of school this year. Cried all because this sweet boy has made me enjoy being his mother most of all. I will enjoy these times to come for sure. History of this tractor to me,. Well where do we start. The loader was built by your great uncle Mike (the welder in the family). The blade from the plow was bought from a guy in Lydia who had it on his Jeep. The decals on the tank are incorrect, your Grandpa made sure I knew that when I was quite young. Dad (your grandpa) removed the side panels to work on the starter back in the early 80's, he left them off to let Allis breath a little better. And yes it was. Sorry Dad. A couple brake replacements later.

My Life As A. Tuesday, December 29, 2009. Procrastinator, Part Deux. As I mentioned before in a previous post, I AM A PROCRASTINATOR. I spend A LOT of time thinking about accomplishing tasks, planning how to accomplish tasks, making lists of tasks, and lists of those lists.BUT I don't spend very much time actually following through on doing the tasks. I'm not lazy, per se, just easily distracted. And maybe a bit of a dilly-dallier. Case in point #2 (and currently a most pressing item): Christmas Cards!

2013 Holidays
Saturday, 3 August 2013. Despite the early hour of rising this am (530), the excitement of going home got everyone moving. We ate breakfast at the hotel- the Pomeroy Inn and Suites had a great breakfast spread. We were on the road by 645! The road was pretty empty, although we noticed there were a lot of big rigs going south! But it seemed it was just the women's that didn't work so Hannah and Kerri used the men's. We grabbed some sandwiches to go and were on our way. Thanks for following our adventure!
