This child will be the first grandchild in our family and would make a dream come true for all of us. We are thrilled about this adoption and are looking forward to a new kiddo in the family. We have some cool pets: We have a cat and two turtles. Our two turtles share a nice large aquarium to swim in with an area to climb out and bask in the sun if they want to. We just got back from an AMAZING trip to Brazil to see our first exchange student get married. It was great weather, since it's summer down there right now, and the wedding and reception were absolutely beautiful! We were asked to be in the wedding so we packed up a suit, a bridesmaid dress, shoes, accessories and headed down for a long weekend. Those Brazilians sure know how to party! Our house and yard have plenty of room for kids to run around. We have a small creek that runs through the backyard, complete with a little bridge going over it. We have a gazebo, several rose gardens and a nice big vegetable garden. Our yard is next to large open grass field where neighborhood kids make friends, play catch and fly kites. We live in a small town, which is safe and nice. We enjoy walking into the downtown area for an ice cream or for the town's various festivals and events.

2013 Holidays
Saturday, 3 August 2013. Despite the early hour of rising this am (530), the excitement of going home got everyone moving. We ate breakfast at the hotel- the Pomeroy Inn and Suites had a great breakfast spread. We were on the road by 645! The road was pretty empty, although we noticed there were a lot of big rigs going south! But it seemed it was just the women's that didn't work so Hannah and Kerri used the men's. We grabbed some sandwiches to go and were on our way. Thanks for following our adventure!
