Losing your confidence | Paul's Blog
https://paulmsquire.wordpress.com/2014/12/29/losing-your-confidence
Ideas, observations and the occasional rant. When you have it, it’s just part of the way you are. It’s not something you pay attention to, have to work to develop or protect it’s just there. If you lose it it becomes obvious by its absence. It may not be obvious to others but for you it will feel like it left a gaping hole filled with uncertainty. Having initially been specific, targeted on one aspect of life, the uncertainty can spread over time. Where will your new skills take you? December 29, 2014.

Ideas, observations and the occasional rant. Author Archives: Paul Squire. At approximately 00.30 on 16th June 2013 I awoke with a severe tightening in my chest. I was having a Heart Attack. I was 42 years old, happily married with two beautiful daughters. It was a shock! I guess you could have described me as "a heart attack waiting to happen". Isn’t the benefit of hindsight a wonderful thing! Since the Heart Attack a lot has changed! Winning in a crisis. This entry was posted in Risk. January 14, 2015.
Winning in a crisis | Paul's Blog
https://paulmsquire.wordpress.com/2015/01/14/winning-in-a-crisis
Ideas, observations and the occasional rant. Winning in a crisis. No matter which sector you work in, from time to time chaos ensues. Unexpected events mean the normal rules are throw out the window; stability is replaced by crisis, normality by a battle for survival. There will be winners and losers; some will emerge stronger, others will be lucky to survive. Under these circumstances, is it better to be the best prepared going in or to be the best prepared to react as the dust settles? January 14, 2015.
