The Refiner's Fire: Our 1st Art Competition
http://mlruiz.blogspot.com/2012/07/our-1st-art-competition.html
Monday, July 30, 2012. Our 1st Art Competition. We entered our very first art competition this year. It was part of the Freedom Festival Festivities and the girls were excited about it. We ended up doing these pieces the day before they had to be submitted, but I think they turned out great! Sophia's was done out of collage and Gabriela's piece was mixed media where she used newspaper, watercolor, pen and ink, oil pastels, and acrylic paint. It was a little involved. So how did they do? You cut your hair!

Tuesday, March 12, 2013. I don't know why but both Philip and I got emotional just as they were starting. I think we were both nervous and wondered if we were crazy having another baby with a busy toddler running around. Plus this time the gender was a surprise. I thought it might be a girl but of course I had no idea. Obviously I was wrong because Philip said, "It's a boy! So, here he is making his way into our family. Cohen Jack Harvey weighed 7 lbs 6.5 oz and was 20 inches long. June 17, 2008. Rebekah...

The Harvey Family: Melissa's Veggie Garden Part 1
http://harveyhuggle.blogspot.com/2013/06/i-have-always-wanted-vegetable-garden.html
Friday, June 21, 2013. Melissa's Veggie Garden Part 1. First up is a pepper plant. I bought seedlings and hope it works well in this pot. Rosemary, parsley, chives, and oregano. Growing great. In between the grassy bushes I planted butternut squash and peter pan squash. I will be training it to grow up the fencing I put up that is not shown in this picture. These are carrots that also have survived and thrived quite well after being attacked by Brayden. In this pot I have planted beet seeds. Brayden stan...

Here are some stats and some things Brayden is up to these days. Brayden's weight: 16 lbs 5 oz. Length: 25 3/4 inches. Oh how he loves his daddy. A...

Friday, January 13, 2012. Philip celebrated his 31st birthday on the 10th. He prefers pie over cake, so I made peach pie which is his favorite. He really enjoyed having his family over for dessert and a couple games of Monopoly the card game. I am determined to beat him at this game one day. Posted by Philip, Melissa, and Summer. Oh, and of course he has to eat his food which he loves. His favorites are bananas, and also anything he can eat from his own hand. This is very limited of course so he ...Final...

Blessed Beyond Measure: 3 Year-Old Ballerina Princess Party
http://chocolateandsalsa.blogspot.com/2011/11/3-year-old-ballerina-princess-party.html
Let the words of my mouth and meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my strenth, and my Redeemer. 3 Year-Old Ballerina Princess Party. My three-year-old specifically requested a pink ballerina princess party. It was a very simple sweet party with family and a few close friends. These were the invites wrapped in pink tulle and ribbon. I found the poem written by Anna Johnson and loved it! I also included the party information on the bottom of the picture.
