Linda Vincent: A Belated St Ives Part 2
http://lindavincent.blogspot.com/2015/04/a-belated-st-ives-part-2.html
Thursday, 30 April 2015. A Belated St Ives Part 2. The past two months haven't been amazing health-wise. I keep losing my balance and I become disorientated and sometimes dizzy. I bump into things and seem to do a lot of curtseying to compensate for my wobbling.when we go out I tend to hang onto my husband so people won't think I'm drunk :-(. I promised more photos of St Ives so here they are. I don't want this to be a wordy post so I'll just add a few for each one:. The view from our little balcony.

Libby Smith : April 2016
http://libbysmith11.blogspot.com/2016_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, 30 April 2016. I can't believe it is the last day of April already - with the weather taking so long to warm up I have felt a bit like the garden - held back. But I'm sure that once the warmth comes things will probably be all the better for it. I love this time of year with the promise of what is to come - a bit like the prospect of opening ones presents. These four pages are about the herbarium that Emily kept and the poem I have selected to partly illustrated the fourth page -. Forgive us, i...

Libby Smith : In Reflective Mood
http://libbysmith11.blogspot.com/2016/11/in-reflective-mood.html
Friday, 18 November 2016. During the last two weeks I have been suffering from a nasty cold that persists in hanging on. However, I've tried not to let it stop me from going out on the brighter days to cheer myself up and last Sunday I walked round Marks Hall Gardens with friends and took the lovely photos below. The lovely splashes of red and some sharp greens and that wonderful reflection on a cold November day. A family was having a group photograph taken against this beautiful backdrop. Last but not ...

Libby Smith : March 2016
http://libbysmith11.blogspot.com/2016_03_01_archive.html
Thursday, 31 March 2016. The Art of Slow Stitching. I work the simple stitches across the collage of fabrics and papers left to right making adjustments as I go. The stitches are either running stitch, seed stitches or French knots, the fabrics mainly silk - organza, habotai, chiffon, sari ribbon and a strip of calico - all of which I have dyed myself and then added some print detail. Tuesday, 8 March 2016. Below is the beginnings of my new altered book that I started a couple of weeks ago which is on al...
