A topnotch WordPress.com site. December 11, 2012. This weeks timings went swiftly; no problems were encountered. I was very close to meeting each of my daily aims which is great. It took three timings per session to achieve this. Today I implemented an ‘error correction before testing’ intervention to reduce the number of learning opportunities and it has appeared to work. A topnotch WordPress.com site. November 27, 2012. As can be seen on this weeks Daily Timings Chart, I have met my daily aims in every session and on one of today’s timings I even managed to go one above the aim. Interventions were not used this week as any improvement in performance would have been negligible. November 20, 2012. November 20, 2012. November 13, 2012. November 13, 2012. I obviously haven’t mastered the pack as I would have demonstrated my fluency on the retention, endurance tests.

I have just realized i have not written the number of trials needed to achieve fluency on my Weekly Chart… as you can see from my timings chart it took 5 trials. Even though this is quite a few I am not worried as all trials produced results within my aim of 40-60 CPM. I was just trying to push myself to achieve the 60 CPM, which i knew i could do! April 29, 2012. Psychologists, especially those who were published in 2008, are going feel a little on edge as a group of motivated researchers come for them this year. Open Science Framework, a group concerned with scientific values, have had enough of talking about the fraud amongst published results and have decided to spring into action with The Reproducibility Project. In 2008. Basically, these chaps want to see how much of what gets published is actually just a load of balderdash. March 25, 2012.
