Just another WordPress.com site. Feminism and Biases in Research (sort of…). When I’m surfing the net I quite often come across things that fill me with that special kind of rage, which I’m sure anyone who’s ever read the comments underneath a YouTube video will have felt too ( http:/ xkcd.com/386/. A prime example of the type of things that awake this rage is the following: http:/ borderhouseblog.com/? I won’t say that my Battlefield 3 example means that society is in some kind of misogynistic downwards...

February 17, 2012, 12:15 am. A key principle of psychology research that makes it a science is that it is based on fact and is not a fictional piece of work. Dr Staple received subsidies and funding for his fraudulent projects, and no doubt he. Was personally paid a huge salary. He not only disgraced himself, ruined his career, damaged the reputations and careers of others, he tainted the image of the field of psychology and psychological research. Research is a huge undertaking, with a responsib...Http:...

I guess it could be said that animals do voluntarily go to get the food often in experiments yet if that is their only source of food what real choice do they have? A fine WordPress.com site. Skip to primary content. Skip to secondary content. April 22, 2013. What do I think of the Science of Education module? Well, it all started with a ten-minute introduction from Jesse on what the module was trying to achieve, no focus on content, no real boundaries on what we could discuss but an aim to learn something new and different. April 29, 2012. Psychologists, especially those who were published in 2008, are going feel a little on edge as a group of motivated researchers come for them this year. Open Science Framework, a group concerned with scientific values, have had enough of talking about the fraud amongst published results and have decided to spring into action with The Reproducibility Project.
