Norfolk Island Quilter: Quiltnorfolk.. the 2nd Getaway.

http://quiltingonnorfolkisland.blogspot.com/2010/11/quiltnorfolk-2nd-getaway.html

Saturday, November 6, 2010. Quiltnorfolk. the 2nd Getaway. What a happy Bunch! This photo was taken at the Farewell Dinner for. Quiltnorfolk. It was a great week with 63 students from Aust and NZ, and tutors and some husbands from both countries. I think that the best part was meeting with so many like minded stitchers, all talking the same patchwork and quilting language, and all eager to learn. How could one not have fun! Norfolk Island Quilter: UFOs

http://quiltingonnorfolkisland.blogspot.com/2010/05/dont-we-all-have-those-projects-that-we.html

Sunday, May 30, 2010. Don't we all have those projects that we started with such enthusism, but they were not completed before the next oppotunity came along to attend another class? And the poor forgotten task was left, semi disclarded, like an old doll that has been superceeded by a new present. But then it is rediscovered at the bottom of the toy/work box, and the thought of finishing it takes over. Must go and do some more stitching therapy. Rowena on Norfolk Island. Labels: The present UFO.

Monday, July 19, 2010. This is a fantastic Block. I am told that it was designed especially with Norfolk Island in mind. Raewyn. Life is full of decisions. Rowena on Norfolk Island. August 25, 2010 at 7:44 PM. Hi Rowena, were planning on bringing a quilters group to Norfolk next year and wanted to know if you can help with advice and/or information so we can make the groups visit a memorable one. Many thanks, Chris. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Rowena on Norfolk Island. View my complete profile.

Saturday, February 22, 2014. Our pool at Fletcher Christian has been there for about 25 years! We had finally got to the stage where the liner could be patched no more. One thing led to another, and we ended up doing a major refurbishment! With Charles lending a hand too!

Quilting on Main Street

Quilting On Main Street - Musings on my creative journey as a quilter. Monday, July 6, 2015. The 3-day weekend for July 4 turned into a short sewcation for me. We did not have a lot happening so I got to spend a few hours sewing every day. I worked on my La Passacaglia project, making more rosette centers. And a lot of the stars needed for the outer ring of each rosette. I think I'll be interrupting this project next weekend to work on some other sewing I want to get done. Links to this post. Monday, February 2, 2015. Wow - - time to write my 5 goals. I am going to go very modest since I only have 27 days left. Here they are for better or worse:. 1 Finish piecing March UFO on Peggy's Sewing Center challenge and. Finish one other UFO from my pile. 2 Schedule my mammogram and get my shingles shot. 3 Walk 15 miles (seriously it seems low, but I need to factor weather and health). 4 Drink more water (at least 16 oz). 5 Knit a pair of yoga socks!
