http://guildypleasures.blogspot.com/2012/06/frivolous-fridaynew-grandbaby.html
Friday, June 8, 2012. Frivolous Friday.New Grandbaby! Say "hello" to the newest member of my family, Lucas James Schnitker, born June 2, 2012, and weighing 7 lbs., 9 oz. His proud parents are Allison (my youngest daughter) and Blake; and his very happy Big Sister, who is holding him in the photo, is Myah (3 1/2). Myah adores "Woocas". Luke is my seventh, and probably last, grandchild. June 8, 2012 at 8:51 AM. They are both darling! You have so much to be thankful for! June 8, 2012 at 9:56 AM.

Guildy Pleasures: Frivolous Friday!
http://guildypleasures.blogspot.com/2012/05/frivolous-friday.html
Friday, May 4, 2012. Everyone knows the name “Superior Threads,” but have you seen this? I spoke with Sharon Schamber’s daughter, Cristy Fincher, a couple of years ago. She told me a story about Sharon forgetting that she had water soluble thread in her machine and having her work wash away! Good lesson to learn from someone else! Happy Friday, everyone! http://guildypleasures.blogspot.com/2012/06/heres-cool-summer-project-for-you.html
Tuesday, June 19, 2012. Here's A "Cool" Summer Project For You! How "cool" are these? I felt 10 degrees fresher just looking at the pic! I love how the citrus slices are quilted to look like they have sections, and those napkins really set them off. And, I have no idea why my text is suddenly backed by white. Go figure- I can't get rid of it.). The pattern is a freebie from Phillips Fiber Arts, and the download is here:. It uses their 12-degree wedge ruler. June 19, 2012 at 2:59 PM. Bee In My Bonnet.

Guildy Pleasures: HEAT AND BOND
http://guildypleasures.blogspot.com/2012/06/heat-and-bond.html
Saturday, June 9, 2012. I started using something new, well to me anyway. Have you used it before? It's Feather Lite Heat and Bond. The lightest weight fusible stuff and leaves appliques very soft and flexible. I'm sold on this stuff! I highly recommend it. JoAnns doesn't carry it however, but Hancocks does. June 9, 2012 at 10:05 PM. What a great tip. Thanks, Judy, going to buy some for sure! June 11, 2012 at 8:09 AM. Thanks for sharing with us. Im always on the lookout for good, non-stiff fusibles.

Guildy Pleasures: Cathy
http://guildypleasures.blogspot.com/p/cathy.html
My name is Cathy, and I like all things sewing! I am also interested in art dolls, and antiques. In fact, my new summer endeavor was renting a space in an antique mall in Wheat Ridge, Paul Allen Antiques. It's been fun being a quilter and a "picker". Guess vintage suits me. Guildy Pleasures: Fun Project: Miniature Quilt for Silent Auction
http://guildypleasures.blogspot.com/2012/06/fun-project-miniature-quilt-for-silent.html
Saturday, June 16, 2012. Fun Project: Miniature Quilt for Silent Auction. As per my usual MO, I finished this quilt about an hour before I had to leave for the Columbine Quilt Guild meeting. I made it for the annual silent auction. This little quilt is so colorful that it makes me smile. Since I'm still loving the black-with-brights combo, I trotted out my bright fabric strips again. Together to make the strip sections. If you're interested in how I created the flower, read on:. Since the center of the f...

Guildy Pleasures: Linda
http://guildypleasures.blogspot.com/p/linda.html
I'm Linda and I live with my dogs. My 2 adult children aren't cooperating on the grandchildren front so I have chosen to volunteer with Animal Rescue of the Rockies, following Sally's sweet daughter, Shonda. I do my share of quilting and sewing by hand, but never, never perfectly so the great seamstresses in this sewing bee are very compassionate in allowing me to remain a member.
