I made it out of Cairo yesterday, and my headache is almost gone already! This city is pretty intense! I'm not quite convinced about going back every month or so for work. It's a lot of hard work. I managed to rip off a door handle off of one taxi. My buddie Umar wanted it for a souvenir. Here's a photo I snapped of a passer-by:. Occupied and non occupied areas. Liz and I decided to spend our latest holiday here in the region. We've been wanting to visit the Holy Land while we're still here within the Middle East. It was no laid back journey as you cannot just fly to Jerusalem or anywhere in Israel from Dubai, so it left for some fun border crossings. It went Amman - Jerusalaem - Bethlahem - Jerusalem - Tel Aviv - Jerusalem - Amman. A car in Tel Aviv. They all look like this. An IPA from Israel. More photos, click here.

Most of you know by now that Liz and I have found our way to Brooklyn recently. We've moved into a nice lil' place in Park Slope, and have found the neighboorhood quite welcoming thus far. Caught Phil and Friends for Halloween. Pretty good stuff. Also found a tiny little bluegrass joint in Red Hook. Summer is almost over! That used to be a pretty depressing statement. But recently it is when I'm happiest. lately it's been 110 , with 100% humidity during the days, and only slightly cooler at night. In a matter of weeks, it's going to cool down to 90's then 80's and stay there for the next 8 months. So depending on the moon cycle, we are looking at this all going down in about 15 days.
