Living for Disco: A change is as good as a rest...
http://livingfordisco.blogspot.com/2006/05/change-is-as-good-as-rest.html
Tuesday, May 23, 2006. A change is as good as a rest. I'm thinking of moving this site over to the free blogging service on WordPress. There are a number of features on WordPress that I quite like:. You can create different pages, so I could have lots of other stuff on here. Not that I would do much with it, other than write nonsense about myself, but the option is there. They have a nifty little calendar. Erm that's it, really. The 'cons' of moving the site are:. I don't know. Who cares? I'm 32 years ol...

Living for Disco: Business2Business
http://livingfordisco.blogspot.com/2006/05/business2business.html
Thursday, May 18, 2006. I have business cards! It’s all very exciting. Since I’ve been here I’ve really lamented not having business cards*. People give them out all over the place: ‘That was a great salsa class here’s my card’; ‘I’m very drunk, and have no idea who you are, but here’s my business card’; ‘Isn’t the weather at the pool great today? Call me. My number’s on the card’. I have business cards, and am therefore very important] and a waste of money. So they just gathered dust. They are nice and ...

Living for Disco: Gordon Bennetts
http://livingfordisco.blogspot.com/2006/05/gordon-bennetts.html
Friday, May 26, 2006. Working Title seem to have done a lot of fantastic films O Brother Where Art Thou, The Big Lebowski, Wish You Were Here, My Beautiful Launderette, The Man Who Wasn’t There, to name a few. Here are just a few things that I liked about it:. Mr Bingley’s hair. It seemed to loom larger over his head with every scene, eventually threatening to engulf anyone who approached him in a teetering quiff of tsunamic proportions. Everyone knows the story anyway. The alternative U.S. endin...Every...

Living for Disco: The sweet, sweet, smell of...
http://livingfordisco.blogspot.com/2006/05/sweet-sweet-smell-of.html
Friday, May 19, 2006. The sweet, sweet, smell of. It’s guava season. I went into the supermarket last night, and the smell of guavas hit me like cheap perfume. It’s a sweet, high stink, redolent of a glass of Sunny Delight that’s been left out in the sun too long. Cloying. Sickly. It hits you in the back of your nasal cavity, and dribbles down the back of your throat, distributing headache spores along the way. I drifted off to sleep to the sound of Boris vomiting enthusiastically outside my back door.

The Adventures of Jen: September 2009
http://adventuringjen-theadventures.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
The Adventures of Jen. My Adventures. The Adventures of me. :) Mostly now the adventures of Baby-boo. Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Husbink and the Sunglasses. Once upon a time, Husbink had some sunglasses. Then one of the arms fell off so he got a second pair while keeping the first pair with a taped on arm in case of emergencies. A short while later, the second pair started to disintegrate. I think this time it was that the lenses kept popping out. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Verse of the week. Here's...

The Adventures of Jen. My Adventures. The Adventures of me. :) Mostly now the adventures of Baby-boo. Tuesday, April 20, 2010. As you may know or imagine, a mother's life is full of firsts. Some good - first smile, first roll, first step, first word. Some bad - first cold, first injection, first projectile poo. And in our household, you won't be surprised to hear that there are a number of silly firsts to be celebrated too. Take the Sunday evening just gone. Labels: baby baby baby. Monday, April 05, 2010.

The Adventures of Jen. My Adventures. The Adventures of me. :) Mostly now the adventures of Baby-boo. Thursday, July 16, 2009. Actually, I didn't. Something has been irritating me about.umm.life? I'm not quite sure who to blame. I didn't. I don't like it. It gets in the way. It suggests that I was use Yahoo! Ok Fine. Make my browsing experience a little more irritating and possibly a little safer but don't suggest that I chose this method and Don't Thank Me! Rant over. :). Sorry for the lack of posting&#...

The Adventures of Jen: Adventures in Absence
http://adventuringjen-theadventures.blogspot.com/2010/04/adventures-in-absence.html
The Adventures of Jen. My Adventures. The Adventures of me. :) Mostly now the adventures of Baby-boo. Monday, April 05, 2010. Last week, I left Baby-boo. Twice! On Tuesday afternoon, Husbink had some time. Off revision and had a play with Baby-boo then a walk while I had my hair cut. :) Yay! Then on Wednesday night I got Baby-boo to bed just after 7pm and went out to home group as they were having a Passover meal. It was very interesting - following the traditional Passover celebration then a lovely ...

The Adventures of Jen. My Adventures. The Adventures of me. :) Mostly now the adventures of Baby-boo. Monday, September 27, 2010. Inspired by several recent returns to the blogosphere I thought I'd put my two pence worth in while Baby Boo has a nap and I have done enough housework to be allowed a "reward". (Yes, I am in fact thinking about other types of reward too.like chocolate and tea and cake.). Which always begs the question, what next? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Verse of the week.
