Random Thoughts from My ADD Brain

Random Thoughts from My ADD Brain. I can't promise to stay on topic, but I promise you won't be bored. Monday, July 28, 2014. End of the run. Emotionally, I'm still on a high. Physically, my body is killing me. Saturday night was the final performance of Annie. And the last nine weeks have been absolutely fantastic. The cast and crew of the show worked so well together. While I've never questioned my decision to move back to Albert Lea, being a part of this production just kept reinforcing it. I've start...

Random Thoughts from My ADD Brain: Marlys

http://randomthoughtsfrommyaddbrain.blogspot.com/2013/10/marlys.html

Random Thoughts from My ADD Brain. I can't promise to stay on topic, but I promise you won't be bored. Monday, October 14, 2013. Fact: Of the 313 million people in the United States, only one thousand and three of those American citizens are U.S. Figure Skating Judges. That's just 0.0003% of the entire population. If I consider all U.S. officials family, I think of the Minnesota officials as my immediate family. We have watched as some of our officials have battled cancer and others fade away...Passed aw...

Random Thoughts from My ADD Brain. I can't promise to stay on topic, but I promise you won't be bored. Tuesday, February 19, 2013. A Physical Manifestation of Friendship. If you've read my blog before, you might have heard me talk about my life-long best friend, Mary. ( Click here. To read our story) We've been best friends since third grade and until college, it was rare that you saw one without the other. So while Mary was in gymnastics, I was at the ice arena. Mary was in band. I was in choir. Maybe I...

Random Thoughts from My ADD Brain. I can't promise to stay on topic, but I promise you won't be bored. Tuesday, March 5, 2013. Shortest Commute I've Ever Had. Couple of weeks back I wrote about my "experiment" of dumping cable TV and only having Apple TV. After six weeks, it's going okay. Not sure I'm cut out for doing this permanently, but worth giving it a try. Back to the whole telework pilot. After the six weeks are up, my manager and I will evaluate the pilot and make the decision if telework become...

Random Thoughts from My ADD Brain: August 2013

Random Thoughts from My ADD Brain. I can't promise to stay on topic, but I promise you won't be bored. Wednesday, August 28, 2013. How I spent my summer vacation (2013 edition). Last we chatted, I was finishing up cleaning and packing for my move to Albert Lea. Since I'm quickly approaching the third rent check, I guess I should fill you in on how it's been going. And I have interesting neighbors. Nuff said. . There's no way I can say that the apartment was move-in ready when I was ready to move-in. ...

Governing Council 2010: April 2010

http://governingcouncil2010.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html

Friday, April 30, 2010. We came back after the break at 4:15 pm The three isolated items from the Athletes Services Group were on the docket. Then something happened that was even more shocking! President St. Peter adjourned the meeting at 4:35 pm - a full hour ahead of time! Susan Nymen (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) called it the Stepford Governing Council as there is hardly any dissension. Maybe it's the California air, who knows! Posted by Elizabeth Harty. Rules Chair Heather Nemier was up fron...

Quilt Addict: August 2011

http://quilt-addict.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html

Tuesday, August 30, 2011. New locale seems to be lacking. I moved to Rochester, Minnesota, one year ago next month. I moved for a job and to be closer to my family. It is a great place to live and I'm starting to dig in to community life and various activities. With a population of over 105,000 people, I had some expectations when I moved here. Quilter's expectations. I guess since they have a big online store, they're not really concerned with non-virtual customers. In the small town of Stewartville, ju...

Quilt Addict: First Post

http://quilt-addict.blogspot.com/2011/08/first-post.html

Wednesday, August 24, 2011. What the heck am I doing here? Although I started quilting 20 years ago, the quilting bug has bit me hard in the last two years. And I love it. I love quilting. My dream is to make my living as a quilter. Maybe open my own store and teach newbies all the quilting basics. I would have to own my own long-arm quilting machine, too. This blog is going to be about my discoveries in quilting, quilt shop tours, product reviews, stories about others who quilt and how they inspire me.

random thoughts from keela.

Random thoughts from keela. Wednesday, July 2, 2008. For lack of real words: adjsfkh;! In july my life was supposed to revolve around two things:. A week at silver bay and a week in south carolina being a lovely child doing mission work. Today i found out that i have to miss not only the last day of the last silver bay EVER. But also the dance, boat ride, and point worship. I dont even think that the general public can even remember the last time i wore a dress. im having a seizure over here. 1 I believe...

Random Thoughts from Melodie

Wednesday, July 20, 2011. I really don't like it when names of things are changed. I'm a firm believe in the old saying, "If it's not broke, don't fix it.". I passed a sign today advertising for a funeral home and prepaying for funeral expenses. Instead of calling it a funeral, they called it a "Remembrance Ceremony". Why not just call it what it is? Like calling used cars "pre-owned". I guess I just don't like to sugar coat things or put "spins" on them. I want things straight forward. Links to this post.

Random Thoughts From Me To You

Tuesday, October 11, 2011. Just a little sample of one of my recent writing submissions. I tentatively turned the key in the lock, half expecting to hear the scrape of the came across the floor as dad shuffled his way to answer my knock. But of course I hadn't knocked, since I knew dad would not be meeting me this time. Or next. Or ever again. As I walked around the empty rooms the reminders of him filled my senses and my mind. The Guidepost. Yogurt before cookies" on the refrigerator. Sported one of tho...

Random Thoughts Of A Mom Of Two

Random Thoughts Of A Mom Of Two. A peek inside the brain of a wife and mom of two happy healthy boys. Sunday, June 17, 2012. If it wasn't for my dear husband, today would be just another day to me. Although I suppose the day belongs to my mother as well, as she was the one who raised me. I have often wondered what it would have been like if I had a father in my life growing up. Would I have been so desperate for a male to love me? Would I have gotten pregnant at 15? Would he even allowed me to date?

A life in the tropics. Stuff I like to read. An aussie lass, a frenchman and a burmese. The adventures of Jen. On my mp3 player. Nothing because it has to be connected to my computer to work, grrr.
