Chopped greens (we prefer romaine hearts). Vinaigrette dressing (we like Briannas Homestyle Blush Wine Vinaigrette). Just toss the ingredients together and enjoy. Tuesday, January 19, 2010. White Chocolate Caramel Popcorn. 1 1/2 cups un-popped popping corn. 2 cups brown sugar. 1/2 cup white karo syrup. 1/2 tsp baking soda. This recipe...

Cookin' with Chris: White Chocolate Caramel Popcorn

http://www.recipesviachris.blogspot.com/2010/01/white-chocolate-caramel-popcorn.html

Tuesday, January 19, 2010. White Chocolate Caramel Popcorn. This Christmas, we were given a popcorn maker by Kimber's brother, Vince and his wife, Jordan. Jordan gave us this recipe to go along with our new popcorn maker. Just a word of caution, this popcorn is highly addictive. 1 1/2 cups un-popped popping corn. 2 cups brown sugar. 1/2 cup white karo syrup. 1/2 tsp baking soda. 1 Pop the popcorn in a popcorn maker or according to the directions on the back of the bag. Cookin' with Chris: Ginger Pork

http://www.recipesviachris.blogspot.com/2009/12/ginger-pork.html

Sunday, December 13, 2009. This recipe is one that my mom taught me when we were visiting for Thanksgiving. It's a quick and easy dish for those nights when you don't have time to cook and don't want to spend the money to eat out. 1 pound of pork tenderloin. 1 inch long piece of fresh ginger root. 4 tbs of brown sugar. 4 tbs of soy sauce. Tip: You don't have to buy a lot of ginger root. Typically, the store sells a huge piece of ginger root. I normally just break off as much as I need. FEEDJIT Live Traff...

Cookin' with Chris: Funnel Cake

http://www.recipesviachris.blogspot.com/2009/11/funnel-cake.html

Sunday, November 8, 2009. A few weeks ago, Kimber and I were visiting Pioche for Lincoln County High School's 100 year anniversary. There was a booth at the football game that was selling funnel cake. There was a long line and we decided that we didn't want to wait in line to get any. I searched around for a recipe and this is what I found. I'm never going to pay for funnel cake again. This recipe is very simple and delicious. 1 1/2 cups of milk. 2 cups all-purpose flour. 1 tsp baking powder.

Friday, October 2, 2009. So we went down to Pioche this past weekend and stopped by Kimber's grandmother's house. They have an apple tree in their front yard that it about to tip over it has so many apples on it. We picked a few and brought them home with us. there's nothing better than home grown veggies and fruits. 1 cup of light brown sugar. 1 1/2 cups vegetable oil. 3 cups all-purpose flour. 1 tsp baking soda. 5 Golden Delicious or Granny Smith apples. 1 1/4 cups chopped pecans or walnuts. Pour the m...

Cookin' with Chris: Italian Sausage Pasta

http://www.recipesviachris.blogspot.com/2009/11/italian-sausage-pasta.html

Sunday, November 1, 2009. It's been awhile since I last posted anything. Between classes, homework, and work the recipe blog has been neglected. Hopefully this recipe makes up for the fact that it's been so long. If you're looking for a nice, full pasta sauce, look no further. It's full of chunks of meat and veggies. 1 onion, chopped. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1/2 red pepper, chopped. 1/2 cup carrots, chopped. 1 pound Italian sausage (Jimmy Dean works well). 2 (15 oz) cans tomato sauce.

Donohue Family Times: Happy Birthday Sophie

http://kyleandeva.blogspot.com/2012/11/happy-birthday-sophie_22.html

Thursday, November 22, 2012. My Sophie is now 4 years old! Can you believe it? I cant. Where did all the time go? If you haven't picked up on it, Sophie is really into Hello Kitty. Kyle made her this cute poster! He is such a good dad. He surprised us all with it and Daxton immediately said, "wheres mine dad? Although he wants, can you guess, a spider man one! She got spoiled as usual! Happy Birthday to my little spit fire! I love you so much and cant wait to see what the years have in store for you.

Donohue Family Times: June 2011

http://kyleandeva.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html

Thursday, June 30, 2011. We recently had our Wilson Family Reunion. We went to Manti. For the weekend and watched the Manti. It was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed it. While we were there we decided to take some family pictures. The Temple grounds are so pretty. Some how Kyle talked me into getting on his shoulders then he started running around, just to freak me out, which he did. It was a fun day. This is the first time we have taken pictures and Kyle has had facial hair. Monday, June 27, 2011. The f...

So 4 hours altogether! I am grateful she was so patient because we got some way cute pictures out of it. I just put some of them up. These are my more favorite ones although there really wasn't any that I didn't like. Hopefully Paislee can cherise these as she gets older. She is such a cutie! September 5, 2012.

Donohue Family Times: July 2012

http://kyleandeva.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html

Sunday, July 29, 2012. This year I was lucky enough to be able to coach Bailey's T-ball team. Kyle would help as much as he could and I also roped my friend into helping me. I couldn't have done it without them. The season was only a month long, which was perfect. Our kids had a lot of energy and it was a lot of fun, mostly. :). When I first asked Bailey if she wanted to play she said, "no, I just want to be a cheerleader." Well I told her she had to play anyways. I'm so nice, right? They had a dance rec...

Friday, July 17, 2015. Simplified Food Storage Plan. For some reason I felt like I needed to make my meal plan more simple. The one I've come up with uses less overall ingredients and in my mind is easier to purchase, store and transport as needed. This new plan call for a single breakfast option, a single lunch option, and four weeks' worth of soups/stews for dinner. Like I said, very simple! As for dinner, here's what I have planned:.
