Room 1, Harewood School, 2014. Friday, 31 October 2014. Today our Room 7 friends came to help us with our learning about change, loss and grief. We shared our ideas about changes we have had in our lives and how with cope when things are hard, or go wrong. After we had finished, we listened to some fables read by the awesome kids in Room 7. Room 1 is Fun! Term 2 is well underway and we are bracing ourselves for the winter ahead! Room 1 2016 Clive School. Wednesday, 7 December 2016. Our Water Day stories. Yesterday was an amazing day. These are the terrific things that Hunt and I did: slippery long slide, super water guns, wet sprinkler, very fun sponge throwing and the red water trough. There were two activities that we didn't do, they are the pool and the bubbles. It might seem like the end but wait there's more. We also shared lunch. Room 1 2016
Friday, 23 September 2016. Today we went for a walk to see how the underpass looked now that it is finished. We enjoyed the walk over there, on the way, we stopped to watch diggers and trucks working by the church. The underpass is now painted and we we think it is looking pretty cool. We were interested in the skylights and ventilation tubes. At the other side, we saw where the time capsule was buried. We made a book about what school is like for us in 2016 to put in it.
