Chapter 1: The Early Years. I joined the Wade Hampton Cross Country team and found a whole new definition of running. By the 3rd day, I was going on 4 mile runs, although I couldn’t say I ran the whole way. Sunday, September 19, 2010. How about an even 20. So, worst running week in a very long time. 1 run in, 20 miles total. I'm gonna shrus it off, and hope to get my running back in order this week. Saturday, April 30, 2011. Favorite people are tucked in bed, its time to run. I got 9 miles in tonight, heading down to Chelsea on the West Side Highway. Wednesday, April 17, 2013. A sad day in Boston. I am so thankful or this turn of events. Had I not moved, I would have been there. And my family would have been cheering at the finish. Ashley had stood in the very spot of the blast years prior, cheering me on. It gives me chills thinking about it. March 13, 2015 · 7:03 am. Things are a little crunchy time-wise around here, but I wanted to drop by with a quick update. After 6 weeks on the elimination diet, we have added eggs. First egg in 6 weeks! For breakfast, with millet and turnip greens.]. In the future, I will definitely be eating eggs. It’s not a bad trade-off. Sweet potato with a fried egg, garlicky cauliflower puree, avocado/cilantro sauce, and hemp seeds]. But how my body reacts to the foods that I eat feels like a cool knowledge to have.
