Rich is Running: November 2007
http://richisrunning.blogspot.com/2007_11_01_archive.html
Monday, November 5, 2007. Two months of down time. Following my sore knee I got hit with the flu just around the time I wanted to start running again. This was no ordinary flu as it knocked me out for a good three weeks or so. At its worse I still only took say 2 days off work, but it just lingered around forever and left me with little energy. Where to from here? I'll probably still post say once a week or two, to fill in the gaps. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Perth, WA, Australia. Podcasts I listen to.

Dreem Howse knot ova prysd: dirt cheap or wait awhile seems to be the options
http://housejonathonkathrynjacob.blogspot.com/2009/08/dirt-cheap-or-wait-awhile-seems-to-be.html
Sunday, August 9, 2009. Dirt cheap or wait awhile seems to be the options. Well we have made some progress in the loan approval stakes. We have got a finance figure from a lender. It is wayyyyyy! Too low.unless I wanna buy as block in Beverley for $35,000, or Mullewa for $19,000 or Northampton for $60,000. Be very easy to just crawl under a rock and carry on renting but I can't afford to throw in the towel just yet. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Dreem Howse knot ova prysd. Rich is Running: August 2007
http://richisrunning.blogspot.com/2007_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 20, 2007. To C2S or not to C2S? It's been a while since I have last posted, which as you may have guessed means that I havent been able to go running. The ever so slight twinge under my right knee cap has finally, 'I think', gone away which is great news. I have actually gone out for what were going to be 10km or light runs but after just 1/2 a km felt a very slight 'this isn't right' feeling. I think I might just leave it for another few days to make sure. Wednesday, August 1, 2007. I wis...

Friday, January 02, 2015. 2014 Year in Review. An inconsistent year, but with a really good patch in the middle. Jan - Burswood Twilight 5k 17:57 - actually a pretty good run on a very hot day, just before flying out on holiday. Feb - holidy/flu on return, gradual return to training. March - Darlington HM 1:22:35 - OK run on the day but still a way off top form. April - Bridges 10k 36:56 - improving. May -Perth 32k 2:06:34. July -holiday with not a great deal of running. October - more time off.

Anampofepistat: December 2014
http://anampofepistat.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Monday, December 15, 2014. WAMC City Beach 8k 2014. 4th week, 4th race. I'm improving a little but it feels very slow progress. To me this confirms my belief that I (and most people), benefit much more from high volume training, rather than the 60-70km weeks I've been doing. If the knee allows, I'll push up to 100km per week over the next month and see how much faster I can get. 3:34/3:43/3:46/3:49/3:51 - so about 18:45 through 5k. Monday, December 08, 2014. WAMC Founders 10 miler 2014. I lined up at the...

Anampofepistat: June 2013
http://anampofepistat.blogspot.com/2013_06_01_archive.html
Tuesday, June 18, 2013. The 2 days after post. Leadup fine, taper fine, pre race night and morning Ok, weather perfect. Set out at desired pace - 19:32/19:23/19:41/19:56/19:52 first 25km looking good. Mainly set out with Brad Hart, a runner of similar pace and coincidentally a physio near my practice. We've shared a few patients and run similar paces but never met. In retrospect i may have been running 5 sec/km faster than I should have in the first 25km. No point crying though - time for a little R&R.

Anampofepistat: August 2013
http://anampofepistat.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 25, 2013. City to Surf HM 2013. Decided to run the half this year - in previous years I've only done the 12k or the full marathon. My expectations weren't too high - last weekend doing the Parkrun 5k race I slipped and fell on a wet wooden jetty/decking in east Perth and in the process managed to sustain a minor hamstring tear. I took it easy all week but even on Friday it was pretty sore stretching out or going up hills. Good to see Stobes (and Boudville? Out there, congrats to brother-in...
