the daily reeder: October 2012

Wednesday, October 31, 2012. I'm not sure why my blogging activity has drastically declined over the last few months. I think it's just not at the top of the list these days. I am busier, but not by much. Life marches forward. We're happy. We're healthy. Here's a small glimpse of September. When I was still a cute pregnant lady. Nowadays most people think I'm about to "pop"- when in reality I still have two months left. How much bigger can I get? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Painty and the Brain.

the daily reeder: May 2012

Tuesday, May 29, 2012. A day at the beach. We were in Southern California this last weekend for a funeral. It was a beautiful service for my cousin Austin, who was killed in a van accident while on a study abroad in New Zealand. However, going to a funeral for a 21 year old young man who had everything going for him is not something I want to be part of very many times in my life. And whenever I ask him if he had any dreams the night before, he usually replies, "did you dream about the ocean? The day bef...

Friday, September 20, 2013. Mitchell was in heaven seeing all his old friends again as well. Whoops, this pic belongs in the July post. Mitchell enjoyed two sessions of swimming lessons this year. Mitchell is very confident in the water which makes me very happy! However, the pool is zero-entry which means he could walk whenever he wanted to, meaning he didn't have to put his skills to the test all the time. Next year, I may put him at a pool that is not zero-entry. My boys. Love them! We spent the 4th o...

the daily reeder: April 2013

Thursday, April 25, 2013. Well, it's true what they say, you don't take as many pictures of your kids after your first. Poor Luke. He's so adorable, but I just don't capture his cuddly cuteness as often as I should! It doesn't help that he stops smiling the minute the camera gets up in his face! Luke is bigger than Mitchell was as a baby, and Mitchell was a big baby! At Luke's 2-month appointment, he was 18.5 lbs! Tuesday, April 16, 2013. I don't have the emotional capacity to list all the reasons why I ...

Thursday, June 21, 2012. A little bit of June. Then followed that beautiful season. Summer. Filled was the air with a dreamy and magical light; and the landscape. Lay as if new created in all the freshness of childhood. You've been good to us this year. Trips to Southern California, Lake Tahoe, and San Francisco (unfortunately, I failed to bring the camera to SF- but we went to Pier 39 and walked the Golden Gate Bridge! Are but a taste of the fun we've had. Do you see that view of Tahoe?

Thursday, October 31, 2013. Is life better than being 4? The following are just a few captured moments of enjoying life with a 4 year old. Monday, October 28, 2013. Oh geez.seems like my blog is all about catching up! Ce la vie. Probably the most "of note" thing that happened in September was that Todd was able to go to California at the end of the month to hike Mt. Whitney with some friends from California. It was a quick trip for him, he left on Thursday, hiked Friday, came back Saturday! Anyways, we h...

The Foulk Fam: July 2015
http://thefoulkfam.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 29, 2015. The first few days were a little rainy, but we found some ways to keep busy. This is us on the first night after arriving at a nice restaurant in the complex adjacent to our hotel. Yummy food and it didn't matter that it was a little cloudy. Looking down beach from the the same vantage point as the previous photo. The houses along the coast were beautiful! This little house sat way back between two much bigger homes. It is called "Wayback". This was the post office in the center...

the daily reeder: December 2013
http://toddhaleyreeder.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 28, 2013. Well, I figure since I am 24 weeks pregnant, it's about time that I announced it to the blogging world. Facebook found out a couple days ago. We are thrilled to welcome a baby girl to our family in early-mid April. Sometime around the 11th-18th.since she'll come by way of C-section, we'll schedule it for a day in there somewhere. Well, let that be a lesson. You never know what God has in store for your family. However, I'm thrilled at the prospect of raising a girl. 2 I've ne...

The Foulk Fam: October 2014

Thursday, October 23, 2014. Off to Texas and Mississippi. Here we are in the Atlanta airport on the way down. The conference took place during week 8 of the fitness challenge so we took advantage of a really long layover to get our exercise in. Exercising turned out not to be a problem as we got a lot of walking in in Texas, but the conference killed us on sweet days! We took a sweet day every day but one so, unfortunately, our scores plummeted. But hey, we had a great time! It was a lot of fun. Steve fr...

Wednesday, September 18, 2013. Must Be Fall - Soccer and Back to School. The first Saturday in September we went to Evan's first soccer game. The weather was beautiful and as the game went on, you could actually see the kids coming together as a team. He is really liking his team and coach this year and they are 2-0 so far. Go Warriors! Evan on offense (the one in the middle with his hands up). With Meg after the game. Nate on his first day of his junior year. And Evan on his first day of fourth grade.
