I felt almost as stupid as the person quoted in Jay Leno Headlines – “Buy your meat at the store so animals won’t be tortured.” And speaking of that – how does that tiny corn that comes in Chinese food grow? Really low to the ground? And I made an arugula and cannellini bean salad I found on the internet. As a great low sodium cooking site!

Staying in Touch – Idle Musings from Denver. My $20,000 marguerita. July 22, 2009 · Filed under Observations. Last week we went to New Mexico with Don and Billie. We stayed in the barn (you can look at the July 2008 blog for that), wandered around Taos and Santa Fe, ate lots of great Mexican food and even had a couple of margueritas (imagine that).
