Mommy Musings: Now, that's what I call toxic gas!
http://mommy-musing.blogspot.com/2009/09/now-thats-what-i-call-toxic-gas.html
Tuesday, September 08, 2009. Now, that's what I call toxic gas! Background: Noah, sweet Noah.such a lovable, snuggly little man with a smile that lights up the room (and mommy's heart). But sweet Noah is not at all interested in potty training. In further checking out the situation, we noticed that not only had Noah been playing in the corner, he had been creating QUITE the masterpiece in his diaper. We all began to wonder.could his stinky diaper have actually caused the gas alarm to go off?

Friday, October 31, 2008. This was just one of those little "Graceisms" I don't want to forget! The scene: My mom and dad's house. We're all just lounging around and chatting. My mom: Hola Grace! Do you know what hola means? It means you're eating at the quesadilla house! Her name for the Mexican restaurant). Monday, October 20, 2008. I can't believe it. My FIRST baby is a TEENAGER. How did that happen? And 21 inches long. He was healthy and screaming and we went home a couple of days later. Follow-throu...

Thoughts, insights and rantings from a father. Friday, January 16, 2009. This morning I helped Grace get dressed. As she was taking off her pajamas she ran out to get some Pull-Ups. I told her if she can't always put her waste in the potty, she was going to have to wear diapers. She reminded me of the last time she put it in the potty. The following conversation ensued:. Me: When are you always going to put your pee and poop in the potty. Happy birthday Holly.). Links to this post. 1 c brown sugar. A not...

Tuesday, October 06, 2009. How Lydia Got Her Name. Since I had posted about the name Sophia and why we were going to name the baby that, I thought I should add an entry about how and why we changed it. It had never been on my name list before and wasn't really a name I'd ever really thought about. But it absolutely felt right and had the beautiful, classic girly qualities I like in a girl's name. She is almost 3 weeks old now and I must say, her name is a perfect fit! Saturday, October 03, 2009.

Monday, August 31, 2009. Aaron and I discussed it and. You know how I love biblical names (even though none of my children actually have one- yet! Well, there seems to be a theme with my younger kids. Grace, while not a name of a person in the Bible, means the grace of God, her middle name Elisabeth (spelled that way) is Biblical. Noahs whole name is Biblical (middle name Aaron). So, it seems fitting that we follow the trend. :). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Aaron and I discussed it and.

Thursday, September 25, 2008. Never mind, let's go to Target," I replied. :). My mom wall has changed my life (not to mention my reputation with the teachers). First. And MOST important to me) is the large white board calendar that I actually do use. It's got all the important stuff on it and I check it nightly to make sure I'm all ready for the next day (and yes Mom, I KNOW the little kids have school pictures next Tuesday! You don't even have to remind me this year! Friday, September 19, 2008. Stay hea...

Monday, August 31, 2009. Aaron and I discussed it and. Saturday, August 29, 2009. Wednesday, August 26, 2009. When she grows up. Grace wants to be a medicine-giver-outer (aka pharmacist). I thought I'd document that for her, so she'll know what her first career aspiration was. Why the interest in being a pharmacist when most kids her age want to be a fireman or ballerina you ask? For the record, when Tyler was Grace's age, he wanted to be a calculator. I love these kiddos! Tuesday, August 25, 2009. Today...

Wednesday, January 07, 2009. Our Very Happy Holidays! Whew, it seems like the month of December is always the fastest moving month of the year. We all had a great Christmas and I wanted to get it all down before I forget. After a week or two, even NOAH would get up and the morning and say "Where Spah-kle? Sadly, Sparkle had to report back to the North Pole until the day after Thanksgiving 2009. We all REALLY missed him for a couple of days after he left. Christmas day we did our own family exchange and A...

Thoughts, insights and rantings from a father. Wednesday, October 29, 2008. For Whom The Bell Tolls. The sermon by John Donne of so many years ago has been ringing in my head lately. The entire sermon can be found online. And is a great read. But the part of that sermon that is most famous I'll copy here and explain:. No man is an island,. Each is a piece of the continent,. A part of the main. If a clod be washed away by the sea,. Europe is the less. As well as if a promontory were. It tolls for thee.
