Wednesday, July 8, 2015. My world has been moving lately. Friends visiting, soon to be father, week long boat trip, and stolen oars. At the concrete shop we built this fantastic looking vanity. At the tail end of the vanity stand project my old friend Alex came out for some Montana time. We went fishing and were able to meet this fella. Yellowstone R. July 1-5, 2015. Camp one with Stephanie. I90 cut above Springdale, with train. Camp three.Second island above Four Banger Waves. Sunset above the Crazys.

Sunday, March 20, 2016. The Builder Friendly Waterproof Hatch, Episode 1. If your looking to put large "dry" storage onto your boat this post may help you out. This all started when I decked my last two boats. To provide access to the space created by the decking I used round plastic hatches and semi dry hatches made of plywood secured with thumb screws. Thursday, February 26, 2015. Top of the mountain: Now with Varnish! Its still snowing here in out little corner of Montana. The skiing has been fantastic and the more snow that falls improves the outlook for our spring boating season. I've been skinning up the mountain a lot lately. Wednesday, December 17, 2014. After a week of this. And some of this. I finally got around to a little of this. I had gotten a few pieces of antique tongue and grove so i decided to put them to good use. I first planed them down to get the smegma removed.Then i laminated them onto a sheet of plywood and cut the whole thing square. I thought the oak i had would make excellent edge trim, durable for protecting the much softer t&g. The joinery was really fun. Pull it all apart and glue it back together.

Here's a list of my current activities, closely related to my obsessions with Missions, India, and people. Most importantly in some ways, I'm working two jobs. Monday, February 28, 2011. My friend Ahmed called me tonight and told me he was coming over. So I cleaned up the house and waited . . . and waited . . . and waited . . . and, no Ahmed! So I decided to go out for dinner. (I made a big batch of casserole a few days ago and have been having it for every meal. I finally got sick of it and decided I needed something else.) Anyway . . . I finished my dinner and was on my way to visit another friend when Ahmed called. Yep! I'm not planning to eat for a few days!
