Listed below are a number of Renderman compliant / capable renderers, with some comments of my own. All of them are available in some form of demo or evaluation version. I strongly recommend that you try them out before spending your Department's annual budget! The Portable Digital Stages were successfully tested on Pixar's Renderman and BMRT.
