Oh and Ben, I will definitely take into account what you said about tying in the main colors elsewhere on the body. I toyed with it for about ten seconds, but I will get back to it. The Picture Makin' Factory. Various Musings in Art by Ethan Scheu. Saturday, November 14, 2009. If xNormal was a woman I would marry it. Ok so I have all of my Uv's layed out and I just did a test render of the normal map I baked using xNormal and here is the result as seen in the preview window. I am very pleased by the results, (although I can seethe flaws in my sculpt very explicitly now) especially when I was expecting complete failure. Great job xNormal, pat yourself on the back.

The Picture Makin' Factory. Various Musings in Art by Ethan Scheu. Saturday, March 13, 2010. Anyhow, here is a render of a building I created for a level design project in Unreal Editor. It has a fully modeled interior, and it breaks in multiple locations as can be seen above. Ill add some concept images for a different project soon. Ive got to say I am itching to do another character model. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. People that are cool and junk.

Project Emerson: A Few Things
http://denisetomlinartblog.blogspot.com/2010/11/few-things.html
Tuesday, November 30, 2010. I figure that since 2 holidays have passed since my previous update it may be time for another. I've gotten through building the interior of the house and making it as modular as possible. Something a bit more challenging than I had expected in comparison to the exterior. I layed out the Uv's and everything and then proceeded to pretty much get stuck from a design standpoint. 1 Modern Homes are really boring. Basically I'm going a little beyond the source material here. As you...

Project Emerson: July 2010

Friday, July 2, 2010. Long time no Write. Yeah its been a while, I apologize. To get back into the swing of things, I started working on a windmill a couple weeks ago, after buying a new reference book of farmsteads. I THOUGHT it would be a relatively simple construct to warm up with. What I didn't realize is A. that American style windmills are more complex than you think and B. Dragon Age: Origins is a really addictive game. Anywho . . how bout some occlusion passes, since everyone loves those!
