Knitting Bags Designed by Knitters for Knitters. Laquo; Just a quick update. March 5, 2010 by Woolly Mamas. We are off to Skip North next weekend for a whole load of knitterly goodness. We are both super excited by the prospect of meeting new people, yarn shopping and of course, a few blissful hours just to sit and knit. Personally I’ll be taking my Riviera knitting bag with me. Lots of room for a couple of projects, everything tidied away neatly for the trip…. Posted in knitting events.

Too Many Hobbies, Not Enough Time: March 2015
http://too-many-hobbies.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
Too Many Hobbies, Not Enough Time. I used to feel guilty about the large portion of my time and income devoted to various craft hobbies,. But eventually I realised that I am stress-busting - and it's cheaper than therapy! Monday, 30 March 2015. SkipNorth in rainy Yorkshire. I was away this weekend for the annual SkipNorth. Friday afternoon is traditionally workshops and it was quite amusing to see some ladies getting mummified in duct tape to create their own duct tape mannequin forms. I learned how ...

Knit the Knits: January 2011
http://knittheknits.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
And purl the purls. Wednesday, January 26, 2011. There's more to life than socks. Really. There is. I know I said it hasn't all been socks but it seems all I've talked about is socks. Just to prove there is. More to life than socks:. This is Barry - I don't know why he's called Barry (I don't even know if he's a boy) but Mel-at-work said he looks like a Barry, so Barry he is. As you can see, he's got a bit of yarn trailing from his ear but that's all sorted out now and he's got a nose, too. But takes 6,0...

addendum - Samhain/Hallowe'en Fibre Retreat
http://knitknack.weebly.com/addendum.html
I would like to acknowledge the inspiration of the inimitable Nickerjack. Who have organised SKIPNORTH. For the last FIVE years. If this weekend is anything like as good as SkipNorth, then I shall be pleased. Thankyou LIxie and Nic. If they do it again in 2011 then I'd thoroughly recommend signing up as soon as you hear about it. Feel like I ought to add something about the Samhain/Hallowe'en title as it seem to have struck a chord of dissonance with some fellow ravellers. For your further edification:.

Saturday, 23 March 2013. Spring. or not. Last year I was sat outside, in shorts and t-shirt. I think if I did that this year I'd be suffering from serious frost bite! It started snowing on thursday night, and it's not really stopped since. It was forecast, but I didn't think we'd be looking at this much! We keep getting mini avalanches off the roof, which keeps me on my toes, the sound of the snow falling and hitting the roof of the back passage is quite startling. Links to this post. This is a huge empo...

Not as Planned | Nickerjac

Next Post →. January 10, 2015 · 11:48 pm. It’s been a bit of a lost week for me, I’ve not been feeling well so have had to cancel a few fun meet ups but there were good things that happened. Thanks to Ruth I got one of my wheels back. There has been a little bit of spinning but I’m having to be good as I’m a bit behind on my preparations for Watham Abbey Wool Show. I have managed to wind a few cakes though. I have also, after seeing Nevis Knitters. Next Post →. 2 responses to “. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
