http://stoeptea.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Monday, 25 August 2014. And as Anne said, "to remember that we are part of a long line of brave wonderful women.". Enjoy . Stolen Time. Thursday, 21 August 2014. I have this gorgeous little book that I got from a dear friend of mine. And on Tues in my circle group I randomly opened it up to this page and these were the words of wisdom that flowed out . Here's to the truth that shall set us free. Because only in being true to ourselves about who we really are. And what we really want. This particular tree...

Thursday, 11 June 2015. The Voice Of The Rain - Poem by Walt Whitman. I came across this poem today and thought it was beautiful. I particularly like the last line of the poem. I have included a short translation. Enjoy. And who art thou? Said I to the soft-falling shower,. Which, strange to tell, gave me an answer, as here translated:. I am the Poem of Earth, said the voice of the rain,. Eternal I rise impalpable out of the land and the bottomless sea,. Yet the same,. And make pure and beautify it;.

http://donnajoyford.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
My intention is to follow my joy . wherever it may take me . with an open-heart . Tuesday, July 29, 2014. My life as a garden. I have this image of my life as a garden that needs tending. Nurturing new activities that are vulnerable is like taking care of a new seedling. Like learning how to love myself more. Like learning to trust myself more. How do I learn to trust myself more? Tending to my garden. Sunday, July 13, 2014. Saturday, July 12, 2014. Friday, July 11, 2014. All unique in our expression.

http://stoeptea.blogspot.com/2015/02/a-reflective-read-i-recently-finished.html
Friday, 6 February 2015. I recently finished reading "Walking Home" by Sonia Choquette. It the story of her 34 day walk of the ancient 800km pilgrimage path across Spain; the Camino de Santiago. I love traveling; I love Spain; I love walking; I love the idea of the Camino and I really enjoyed one of Sonia Choquette's books and so for me this was a definite read! The Camino is on my bucket list and I am hoping to do it when my girls are a bit older and I can get away for such a long stretch of time. I am ...

In Italy 2014: What I do know...
http://flowrsinitalytake2.blogspot.com/2015/03/what-i-do-know.html
Tuesday, 24 March 2015. What I do know. In reflection. what can I say. I can unequivocally say - I have fallen head over heels in love with Italy. This old world seeps under your skin and into your bones and it lingers there always inside of you. I think perhaps me and Italy will never be done with each other. Travelling again, in my 40's is not by any stretch of the imagination easy. But I think it's necessary. both trips to Italy impacted me so deeply and changed me so much. Especially in the old.

In Italy 2014: November 2014
http://flowrsinitalytake2.blogspot.com/2014_11_01_archive.html
Monday, 3 November 2014. Soft Landing. Beautiful Orvieto you have stolen my heart! Finding my soul again. I woke early Sunday morning because I couldn't sleep. Headed downstairs and found a cappuccino machine. And I headed to the monastery gardens and found beautiful precious quiet. Only the sound of sweet Giovanna, our head nun clipping roses, sweet birds and bells ringing in the distance to keep me company. This is more me. My humble room with an incredible view. Train strikes and early departures.

http://flowrsinitalytake2.blogspot.com/2015_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, 22 January 2015. Love at first sight. This has to be the most incredible door knocker I have ever seen - I fell instantly in love. I went on a mission this year to find as many different door knockers I could find. because they all seem to tell their own story and are all so interesting. Monday. first day in class. I woke up early again. Sleep has been eluding me. I was feeling so nervous about being in class. I headed down to get a small coffee and for a walk around the Monastery gardens.
