Monday, 27 August 2012. The weekend saw me reaching a nice little landmark, as I Ringed my 500th individual bird. The bird in question was a lovely little Robin, not a bird considered too special or exciting, but on this occasion it was definitely the bird of the day. On sunday evening I headed back to the Coastal Park as a Barred Warbler had been found in, of all places, our Ringing mound! Sunday, 12 August 2012. Or maybe it was coincidence. Who knows? I like to think they were Mr and Mrs though!

Wednesday, 13 February 2013. I love wildlife. I love everything about it, including sharing it with other people. Its one of the greatest feelings in the world when you see the joy and excitement on somebodies face when they see something wonderful for the first time, especially when you have a little hand in making it happen! Sunday, 24 March 2013. Goa Trip 2 - BONDLA. Anyway, Bondla is a protected forest in the foothills of the Western Ghats. Its 8 square kms in size, not huge but big enough to spend a good couple of hours exploring. Sunday, 31 March 2013. Goa - ONE LAST TREAT. The day before we came home, myself and Maria had an excursion booked via the tourist rep under the rather extravagant name of ' Island Cruise' . It wasnt quite as grandiose as it sounds, but it was definitely a fun way to end our holiday. Monday, 28 May 2012. WHITE WINGED BLACK TERN. Yesterday I had a little trip down to Teesside, the first time I've been down that way for ages! A gorgeous White Winged Black Tern had turned up at Saltholme, and as I was doing nothing in particular I decided to pop down and see it.
