Map of Fallen Leaf. Driving to the Wedding. SSC is located on Fallen Leaf Lake in South Lake Tahoe, California. Directions for drving to SSCC are:. Travel time is approximately 4 hours. Take I-80 East to Sacramento. Approaching Sacramento, merge onto US-50 East to South Lake Tahoe, 100 miles and 2-hour drive time. At the second stoplight in S Lake Tahoe, stay straight to go onto CA-89. Just over 3 miles turn left on Fallen Leaf Road. Follow road 5 miles, past the marina, to a paved bridge on the right.

We reserved the entire camp and all guests will stay at the camp. You can be sure that if you have rommates they will either be your family, be well known to you or will at the very least be good company. Let us know if you have special requests. We'll do our best. The cost for the weekend is $310 per person. This includes two nights lodging in a lakeside cabin, all meals from Friday evening through Sunday brunch and access to all camp facilities and activities. All cabins are heated.

You'll have time to venture outdoors, breathe the fresh mountain air and take advantage of the wonderful recreation at beautiful Fallen Leaf Lake. You can:. Check out a complimentary sailboat, kayak or canoe from the boat dock. Hike one of many trails right out the back door into Desolation Wilderness. One popular trail takes you to historic Glen Alpine Springs. Or check out Cathedral Trail. Fish for Mackinaw, Brown, Rainbow trout and Kokanee salmon in the clear, deep water of Fallen Leaf Lake.

The One with the End of Summer. It's the end of summer as we know it. Lots of people complained about school starting in July, but we were ready. At the beginning of summer we made a list of things we wanted to do, and each week we made it a goal to cross more things off our list. Talan is an old pro at school now. He is in Mrs. Pollard's second grade class at Jefferson. He met up with a few friends, Parker and Avery, so they could all walk to school together. Tobin was sure happy when 3:20 rolled around.

2-3 packages finely shredded cabbage/carrot mix. 2 1/2 tbsp lemon juice. 1 1/2 tbsp white vinegar. Whisk together all ingredients, except cabbage, in a large bowl. Then toss with cabbage and chill for a few hours. 4 c cooked shredded chicken. 1-2 cans rinsed black beans. 3 blocks of cream cheese. 2 cans of Rotel. 1 1/2 c shredded cheese. 1 jar of picante sauce. 38 large pasta shells, cooked al dente. 1 pound pasta (ziti, penne or mini penne). 1 pound lean ground beef. 6-8 oz sliced provolone. 188; c....
