Sunday, April 10, 2016. Since Easter was in March this year the month of April has been dedicated to celebrating Stewart and My BIRTHDAYS! All of our marriage he has been in school or training with a vigorous schedule to keep up, sooooo if you really think about it… this may have a BIG roll to play in the way we have celebrated my birthday (and his). Keeping in touch with family and friends. Summer break is almost here! I am soooo excited. Friday is the last day for this school year and then I’m off for the summer. We have lots of fun plans too so that’s even better. This weekend we are headed to Tuscon to visit the Crandall family and it’s gonna be hot. Yuck. It should be a great time though. I’ll blog about it when we get back…have to remember the camera. Morgan is becoming such a monkey! He really enjoys reading. The Ladybug book is his favorite.

On Tuesday we received the unexpected news that she won't be with us for much longer. Alison and I still intend to get married at an outrageous over-the-top wedding just like we planned for March 2nd. But for now, we must confront the imminent loss of Al's mother, and all that entails.

Monday, March 23, 2015. When we first walked into our new house - I saw an ugly fireplace and 19' ceilings. I knew I wanted floor to ceiling stone work…but didn't want to spend a ton of money. After a bit of research, I found Airestone at Lowes. This was lightweight stone that we could install ourselves. It was a no brainer. The great folks at Lowes helped us gather all the material we would need for our project and soon we started laying the stone. Our finished product was nothing less than amazing.
