This was my lunch today! It was very yummy I must say. It is a great dish, full of the traditional Indian spices like turmeric, cardamom and cinnamon. Not only do these spices have wonderful health benefits, but the quinoa (pronounced “keenwah”) is also a healthy whole grain that is packed full of protein. Have you ever made your own homemade flour tortillas? This is a first for me. I have wanted to give them a try for a long time but just haven’t gotten around to it until now. I was making some other dishes like Mexican rice and salsa to freeze and use in other meals, and I had some shredded chicken, so I thought this would be a good time to make them and have me some awesome chicken tacos! They are so delicious when made fresh! They are warm, soft and just a little toasty. So yummy! 1/2 c warm water.

Red white and blue breakfast tart. July 11, 2012. 1 frilly top 1 old bandeau bikini (mine was rust stained from a keys adventure) = brand new top to lay out in! First, I pulled the stitches that connected the frilly top to this hideous blouse out. The top already looks better without all the frill! Saturday, August 18, 2012. New Essence Colour and Go bottles. Break Through Old Bottle. I passed the Essence display at my local Ulta (which is always picked over) and saw new pretty bottles of the Colour and Go. I picked up two bottles, but after trying them I am going back for more! The caps are easier to hold and the wider brush means you use less strokes to apply the polish. This polish matches my camera PERFECTLY. (The color is a bit off because I used my cruddy cell camera).
