August 2016 – The Caffeinated Yogi
https://thecaffeinatedyogi.wordpress.com/2016/08
Yoga, Running, and Coffee. Actually Starting the Yoga Challenge This Time. August 23, 2016. August 23, 2016. No yoga today, but I finally got a gym membership! I ran a mile at a 10 minute pace to warm up, did some strength training, biked for a few minutes, and then tried a barre class. I think barre is a keeper, although I might be waddling more than walking tomorrow. My activity tracker didn’t like the class. I apparently didn’t move my arms enough. August 22, 2016. July 2016 – The Caffeinated Yogi
https://thecaffeinatedyogi.wordpress.com/2016/07
Yoga, Running, and Coffee. Actually Starting the Yoga Challenge This Time. July 20, 2016. So after I made my last post I realized I’d picked a really bad time to start a new workout routine and healthy eating regiment. We had a holiday in there, which meant family in from out of town, which meant BBQs and family dinners with a lot of unhealthy choices and little time for structured exercise. July 6, 2016. August 30, 2016. As I got older, I learned that the reason I was so flexible was because hypermobili...

Yoga, Running, and Coffee. Actually Starting the Yoga Challenge This Time. Actually Starting the Yoga Challenge This Time. August 21, 2016. The first pose of the challenge is the headstand, one of my least favorites. According to yoga108.org. The steps to a successful handstand are as follows:. 1 Kneel down and grab your elbows with your hands. 2 Keep the elbows where they are and interlock the fingers in front of you. Elbows and hands now form an equilateral triangle. 8 Now and only now straighten your ...

The Caffeinated Teacher
Loving life with a Diet Coke! Monday, January 2, 2017. The long-awaited (or not? Post about my running record intervention program is here! This summer my grade level team and I got together just before school started so we could share resources. One colleague is a second year teacher (she was my student teacher once! Out of desperation I was searching around for some leveled reading passages that I could use and found this file. We have to make an instructional goal for improvement every school year as ...

The Caffeinated Thinker
Thursday, July 30, 2015. My Journey Back in Time. That was something else. Not only was I watching, so were our Rebbes. If to my tired human eyes, this was so obvious, I'm sure it was even more beautiful from where they can see us. I'm sure that we all had slightly different experiences because we are all slightly different. The thought weighed on me quite seriously. How will I make sure this trip changed me? When I get home will things be different? Is it a possibility that my prayers were answered?

The Caffeinated Word
Saturday, February 23, 2013. January 12, 2013. Daryn had some great things brewing in the job arena, and after a lot of hard work wanted to celebrate with a nice dinner. We had 5:30 dinner reservations (insert Buckeye Card or Early Bird Special pun) at Lolita in Tremont. Initially, I thought this was odd as Lolita was our anniversary spot. Daryn and I had our first one-on-one date here September 17. Now, this is where I make a point of telling you about his weird floss habits. Nearing the top step I star...
