She battled well and came out on top. We knew early on she was smart- it's her gift. I am glad she was rewarded on that special day. I was one proud mamma this day- and to say my stomach was in knots the last few rounds would be an understatement! She went on the the county bee and made it about half way (competing against 8th graders).

Thursday, August 22, 2013. This kid keeps is laughing and sometimes crying.she is so much work and so much fun! I never write down the funny things she says, so I thought I'd share this one. Tonight she held up Lane's First Chatechism book and said "This is a story about Jesus and the Frog." She opened it and read "Rapunzel went home and ." she also tried to sell the preacher's wife a library book out of the church library last night for $500! Other facts at 3 years 4 months. Thursday, December 26, 2013. It's Austin Nichols…and Shaq! What a fun surprise to run into several Tiger basketball players after a game a few weeks ago. Kate loves "Austin Nichols".we went to see him play a couple of high school games last year and she just remembers the name, so his first game at the Forum, when we would say his name, she would say "Austin Nichols doesn't play here! She was quite shy at meeting him! I don't think he's held many kids…she looks like a sack of taters! Bo and Shaq Goodwin!

Saturday, July 20, 2013. Matt and Kate 10.6.12, Anna and Jeff 4.13.13. We added to amazing cousins to our family this year. Bre and Marty had two of there three children get married in the last year- we are so excited to have Kate and Jeff as part of the family now. Matt and Kate we wed at Waterworks in Midtown- such a cool venue! I don't have a lot of pics because I left my camera at home, so just had a few phone pics! Another Christmas season, what a blessed time of year- through celebrating Christ's birth, I get to do things I love to do.be with those I love more, see my kids enjoy themselves, eat lots of great food, shop. A Christmas Eve photo op. The 3rd annual "Uncle Chad's Parade of Golf Carts". Santa and his girls. Buddy and his antics.again this year! Height: 30.25 inches (75-90%). Weight: 19 lbs. 5 oz (10-25%). Head: 18.1 inches (50-75%). At 12 months, Summer. Has many, many words! This girl can talk, and she does it all day long. Off the top of my head, some of her words are: Snack, ball, brother, mom, dad, bath, banana, bread, milk, bottle. And then hand it to you for a hug.
