I really love Steiner education and the philosophy behind it. People often get Montessori and Steiner education confused, I guess . Real Food Series: Apple, Oat and Maple Slice. Why I didn't quit sugar.

The Little Gnomes Home: Nourishing Orange Jelly
http://thelittlegnomeshome.blogspot.com/2012/08/nourishing-orange-jellywith-no-added.html
Tuesday, August 21, 2012. A nourishing and delicous snack in our home is jelly.* Made with high quailty bovine gelatin* ( I buy here. And the juice of freshly squeezed organic oranges, we enjoy this with spoonfuls of full fat cream. You can make this with any fruit - sometimes I make it using the whole fruit and other times like this orange version I use only the juice - when in season, pureed rockmelon is lovely. Juice of organic oranges (disregard the pith) 2 cups (500mls). Organic and Biodynamic Living.

The Little Gnomes Home: real food series: Barramundi with green olives & basil
http://thelittlegnomeshome.blogspot.com/2013/07/real-food-series-barramundi-with-green.html
Friday, July 26, 2013. Real food series: Barramundi with green olives and basil. As promised a simple, fast and delicious recipe. We prefer to eat wild white fish as opposed to oily fish, which are high in unsaturated fats (the bad kind of fats in my books). Always add some stable and nourishing saturated fat (such as coconut oil, butter or ghee). Barramundi with green olives and basil. Wild white fish - depending on how many you are feeding. I usually allow about 150 grams per person. POUR about 1/4 cup...

Morrie and May: August 2012
http://www.morrieandmay.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, 19 August 2012. Playtime at the park. Coffee and Zumbo deliciousness. The ocean on a beautiful winters day. Sunday, 12 August 2012. I often make pikelets for my Little One for a handy on the go snack, so I thought I'd share the recipe with you today. I always try and make sure Lily has at least one egg a day to keep up her protein and this is an easy way, other than an omelette which I think she is getting bored of. 2-3 teaspoons of unbleached organic flour (or I sometimes use spelt flour). Once ...
Morrie and May: January 2013
http://www.morrieandmay.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 23 January 2013. Cherry Tomato, Garlic and Oregano Spaghetti. Lily and I go to our local Farmers Markets every Friday morning and last week I picked up a beautiful punnet of cherry tomatoes, I then had to think up something to make with them. I decided on a quick and easy pasta dish, and as far as pasta dishes go I think this one is pretty light, and without the bacon it makes for a nice meat free meal. Below are the yummy details:. Cherry Tomato, Garlic and Oregano Spaghetti. Drain the spaghe...
Morrie and May: Discovering the South
http://www.morrieandmay.com/2012/11/discovering-south.html
Thursday, 22 November 2012. We have never been to the south coast of NSW together before. I've been told I went as a child, but don't remember, and Mr Butcher lived there for a little when he was a boy. So off we went with a car packed full of camping equipment for a little discovering. We camped, and discovered, Mr Butcher got walks on the beach and I got coffee and shopping - a perfect match. All in all a lovely time was had, and. Do you have Instagram? 26 November 2012 at 12:59. How's your day going?
Morrie and May: April 2012
http://www.morrieandmay.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Monday, 30 April 2012. Thursday, 19 April 2012. Here's two things I've been working on recently; a headband for Lily to wear to her Auntie's wedding next week, and another for her Christening this Sunday. The colour scheme for the wedding is blue and lime green, and Lily is the ring bearer so she needs something extra special to wear! The colour scheme for the Christening is lemon, white and silver. (I've also got a very elaborate Christening candy buffet to share with you next week too). I made this swee...

The Everyday Blessings: Making a healthier change
http://theeverydayblessings-nadia.blogspot.com/2012/09/making-healthier-change.html
Moments of simple joy in our busy little world. Wednesday, 19 September 2012. Making a healthier change. So now, although I can't call myself totally unhealthy, I'm not the healthiest I've ever been. I don't indulge in a lot of junk food or take away, but I see a rise in processed foods in my diet and a move away from freshness. I think it's time to make a move back in the right direction. Inspired to take action by a beautiful blog post over at Farrah Fair. And the best way to begin? They are liquid goo...

Domestic Artisan: Reevaluations.
http://domesticartisan.blogspot.com/2013/02/reevaluations.html
Monday, 4 February 2013. I'm finally back in this space, happy days! To summarise such a lengthy absence seems a bit silly but I would like to share why I haven't been around. We did indeed move house and two days. Does anyone else feel like this? Also I think I know that while I value this space (and visiting others even more so) I am happier when I am living the moment than worrying about documenting it. So why have I continued? Domestic Artisan: Thoughtful Gifting : Toddler-friendly handmade dominoes
http://domesticartisan.blogspot.com/2012/09/thoughtful-giving-toddler-friendly.html
Monday, 24 September 2012. Thoughtful Gifting : Toddler-friendly handmade dominoes. I love giving gifts and have always prided myself on finding great gifts. In my view gifts don't need to be expensive, large, bought or new to be great gifts. Often I find it's the smaller, less manufactured gifts that are the most appreciated. With that in mind I am going to start sharing some of the gifts we either make or buy here. Inspired from a pin on Pinterest. Which led me here. Celestial bodies - moon, star, sun,...

Sunday, 9 October 2011. Our holiday seems like another lifetime now Autumn has arrived in London. It was about three weeks ago and it's a very distant memory. Today it got dark at 7 and I lit candles in the kitchen. We stayed in. In south west France. Pretty fabulous. Perfect for families as everything you could possibly want was there, and large grounds to roam around and explore. Including a bunch of chickens. Clara with her little buddy A. Musings mutterings and even some memories. Saturday, October 20, 2012. A bit of neosporin please. I promise no brilliance, but I was quite proud of these few sentences. But they did not fit in the proposal. So they had to go. Mainly I was impressed with my use of the word synergetic. Paragraph cut from my proposal:. Tuesday, June 05, 2012. The rest of the story. I've definitely waited to long and all interest has been lost - except a friend reminded me I never finished this. Monday, June 04, 2012. Sweet,...
