A few completed projects. The shirt I made for myself.so I'll have something pretty to wear after the baby arrives. Ryan loved the fabrics so much she asked for a dress made of it, so we'll try to get that happening for her soon. Used to be a wrap, now it's a few blankets, hats, and even a pair of pants! Monday, September 13, 2010. Fook Chou Min Sin with home made chicken patty. I quickly put back the ready-made burger patties and decided to make my own one. My Perfect Mai Tai. July 29th, 2013. Ah, the Mai Tai. Just saying it takes you to the ocean, tiny little umbrella in your drink, skin toasty from the sun, plumeria in your hair. Well, a REAL Mai Tai would do that. But unfortunately, the Mai Tai has taken some abuse on the Mainland. Adding things like orange juice…maraschino cherries (and juice…ick). The only juice in Trader Vic’s original recipe (1944) was fresh-squeezed lime juice, and it’s a tasty little concoction:. Add juice from one fresh lime.
