The Mamalogues: Musings of One, Crazy Mama: April 2012

http://www.themamalogues.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html

The Mamalogues: Musings of One, Crazy Mama. Monday, April 9, 2012. I have been meaning to write this post for three months. But first my computer crashed, leaving me with only my Android Pad for a month which, quite frankly, sucks for word processing. Then my son had his first birthday. And finally, he and I got sick - for two straight months. As I mentioned in an earlier post, nursing my son was something of a nightmare in the beginning. He has an increased. They all exclaim. The shock and horror! Final...

The Mamalogues: Musings of One, Crazy Mama: Overcoming Grandma

http://www.themamalogues.blogspot.com/2012/01/overcoming-grandma.html

The Mamalogues: Musings of One, Crazy Mama. Monday, January 9, 2012. Be forewarned; this post is probably better described as a rant than a musing. One of the most painful topics for me surrounding my son is his grandmother - my mother. It is one of the reasons I started this blog. To get it out, purge her, and ultimately find a way to heal. (It's a helluva lot cheaper than counseling, anyway.). When my son was three weeks old. My father brought her. Isn't that supposed to keep him from getting sick?

The Wells Family Blog: Football

http://thewellsfamilypage.blogspot.com/2012/08/football.html

Saturday, August 18, 2012. High School football is HUGE here in Valdosta. It's bigger than the university football. We were invited to go to a tailgate party and football game yesterday, which ended up being lots of fun. I don't think I have been to a football game since I was in high school. It was awesome and I got to try fried pickles for the first time. They were so good! Posted by Jennifer Wells. So glad yall enjoyed the game! Ive never tried them. August 28, 2012 at 1:22 PM. The Wells Family Blog: Cooling Down

http://thewellsfamilypage.blogspot.com/2012/09/its-finally-cooling-off-and-we-are.html

Sunday, September 16, 2012. It's finally cooling off and we are having lots more outside time. We are loving it! We ended the week yesterday with a special truck even they had in town. Sebastian finally saw how a cement truck works (he was asking me last week) and got to ride and operate a real excavator! Lowes had a station there were Sebastian built a little project. Julianna and him got to take home some real goggles. They were pretty excited. Posted by Jennifer Wells. Loved catching up with your blog!

The Wells Family Blog: Busy Busy

http://thewellsfamilypage.blogspot.com/2012/08/busy-busy-busy.html

Thursday, August 16, 2012. We've had a full week! Lots of good stuff going on. Last weekend Joe worked his butt off making our barn and garden area more comfortable. He added mulch inside the barn and along side the garden. It looks so nice and finished! The barn isn't dusty anymore and it's so much more inviting. I can't wait to hang some swings in there and add a picnic table. Obviously we don't have any plans to actually use it for housing any animals :). This was at the open house Monday. She does no...

The Wells Family Blog: Back On Track

http://thewellsfamilypage.blogspot.com/2012/08/back-on-track.html

Friday, August 24, 2012. We went for Julianna's follow up appointment to check her weight this week. After giving her one extra milk sippy a day and letting her eat more freely (walking around to eat after she eats at the table) she has gained over a pound and a half and grown 3/4 of an inch in six weeks! The Wells Family Blog: October 2011

http://thewellsfamilypage.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html

Thursday, October 27, 2011. We closed on our house two days ago. The house is all ours. We still aren't moved in yet though. We are all very excited. I can't believe it's all really happening. Since we have been here, we have been having lots of fun. There is so much fun stuff to do here! Here are some photos from the past few weeks to show what we've been up to. Our last stop on our road trip down here was Savannah, GA. This is such a beautiful city! Playing out in the yard. Posted by Jennifer Wells.

The Wells Family Blog: Cake, Ice Cream and Football

http://thewellsfamilypage.blogspot.com/2012/09/weve-had-really-fun-week.html

Sunday, September 2, 2012. Cake, Ice Cream and Football. We've had a really fun week. Lots of fun stuff that kept us busy! I was really proud of how grown up he was and he even said thank you to the birthday boy for inviting him before we left. I might have prompted that, but he was happy to do so. We are hosting a big fall/Halloween party here next month for my MOPS group and he is calling it his Halloween birthday party. Oh boy. It was also a nice night out on our own. Joe and I parked about a half mil...

The Wells Family Blog: March 2012

http://thewellsfamilypage.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html

Monday, March 5, 2012. Since I'm so behind so I'm just going to post some of my favorite photos from these past two months. If you are on my Instagram. I apologize. You have seen these so I hope you don't mind seeing them again. The bridge going into Jacksonville. Sebastian watering the fruit trees. They are currently in buckets because we have to wait till it's warmer to plant them in the ground. We've been babying them since Christmas! Julianna at bath time. Playing outside with one of the dump trucks.

After the appointment we ran a few errands then went to Chick fil A for lunch. That's always a favorite! My big girl also climbed to the very top of the play area ALL by herself! Posted by Jennifer Wells. Friday, July 6, 2012. Julianna - 18 Months Old. I can't believe she will be 18 months old tomorrow. Things Julianna likes right now:. Pretending to eat and cook. themamalibka | Capturing life – one blog post at a time.

See Red This Christmas. On: November 29, 2014. Tonight was my first experience volunteer bell ringing for the Salvation Army. When I arrived outside Macy’s main entrance at Fashion Square Mall just before 6 pm Leroy was finishing his shift – one that had started a little before 7:00 that morning! Soon Heather arrived and I said goodbye to Leroy and was on my own. It was snowing lightly. The snowplow service truck drove by and spit salt pellets up by my feet. People came and went and many gave. It was a l...

The Mama Life

Whether entered into by hours of labor following months of waiting, or by hours of traveling following months of paperwork, you were brought into it. When your eyes locked those much smaller than yours and they stared not just into your pupils, but into your soul…your very inside. You were stripped bare. Fear might have crept in among a new anxiety. How do I care for you? What do I do now? They’re going to let you come home with me? What if I screw you up? Tantrums arrive, sin nature flares, cuddles are ...

The Mama Load

Musings on one mama's journey. Monday, June 8, 2015. He will negotiate the world in much the same way. I can’t imagine a day when he will not barrel down the stairs noisily, tease the dog, leave the open milk container on the counter and his socks on the porch. I miss him already and no longer complain when I find Dungeons and Dragons dice or Magic cards all over my house. They are evidence that he is still here. 8211; before he goes. I don’t know when he discovered the horizon. Thursday, May 14, 2015.

May 13, 2015. Eleanor is snoozing upstairs and will be squawking for her breakfast momentarily, but we’ve had a milestone today. Okay, you’re right…we’ve had a number of milestones lately. The Mama Log

My Perfect Mai Tai. July 29th, 2013. Ah, the Mai Tai. Just saying it takes you to the ocean, tiny little umbrella in your drink, skin toasty from the sun, plumeria in your hair. Well, a REAL Mai Tai would do that. But unfortunately, the Mai Tai has taken some abuse on the Mainland. Adding things like orange juice…maraschino cherries (and juice…ick). The only juice in Trader Vic’s original recipe (1944) was fresh-squeezed lime juice, and it’s a tasty little concoction:. Add juice from one fresh lime.
