the little collection: August 2010
http://thelittlecollection.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Of thoughts and things. Tuesday, August 24, 2010. This morning, my kitchen smells like basil from last nights dinner and ripening peaches. Lovely! My peaches from the farmers market were finally ready to be. Blanched, peeled, sliced and frozen. I love how these girls just slip out of their skins after having taken a hot bath! Now they slices of gold, tucked away and ready to eat all winter long. Andrea, the little collector. Saturday, August 21, 2010. The Quilt Retreat Post. Finally! So, sometime ago, V.

Wow, mailed August 24th and arrived October 6th! I think it came the pony express! So glad that they got here and I hadn’t started putting the blocks together as I had spent the weekend finishing the hand stitching on the other two! I had thought I had previously received them but I didn’t. Entry filed under: Uncategorized.

Inspired Wonderings: November 2008
http://inspiredwonderings.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html
Thoughts about quilting, family, the beagle Belle, and whatever else crosses my mind. Monday, November 17, 2008. The temperature is supposed to be around 17 degrees tonight - and it's cold out! Perfect weather to sit on the couch and finish binding a quilt, especially when the quilt can cover you up! The weekend went by too quickly, and I only got in about 3 hours of quilting! We "barter" jobs back and forth, haircuts, dog-sitting, tutoring, and manual labor. Hope the weather warms up! Links to this post.
