Captain Pineapple goes Virtual: October 2009
http://virtual-pineapple.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Captain Pineapple goes Virtual. Tuesday, 20 October 2009. A Demonstration of some Animation. And here it is. The finished test animation for the head. It's not an incredibly slick animation, but is a nice example of the things you can do once you've finished with your organic model. To be really honest, animation would probably be more efficient if the maps are added. That's all for now. Peace out guys. Fun with Animation - A.K.A. Why Morpher and Mapping don't mix. Most of you should remember this from l...

Captain Pineapple goes Virtual: September 2009
http://virtual-pineapple.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Captain Pineapple goes Virtual. Friday, 25 September 2009. And so, without further ado, let's get started on the facial construction! I had a spare hour or 2 last night and decided to crack the topology whilst it was still fresh in my mind. Once again, I was accompanied by a faithful mug of tea and the ever wonderful playlists on my iTunes. With the lens correction implemented, this was the result. Time to start lining up the 2 shots (Thus making my job several times easier in the long run). The importan...

Captain Pineapple goes Virtual: Week 10 - Animation - Part E - The Final Section

Captain Pineapple goes Virtual. Friday, 4 December 2009. Week 10 - Animation - Part E - The Final Section. With the team of SteamBot's. Created and ready to go, I was in a position to complete the final section of the animation. The Harwood. Had to be moved back a bit further so that it comfortably sat on the floor of the cabin. The camera was also nudged upwards slightly to compensate for this, and to place more of a focus on the top of the undercarriage, which would be seeing the imminent arrival of.

http://cdjt-virtual.blogspot.com/2009/11/photographs-of-paxman-horizontal.html
Wednesday, 4 November 2009. Photographs of the Paxman Horizontal Compound Steam Engine. These took a little longer to upload than expected, however, I found a good solution provided by Photobucket that allowed me to store all of these images online in one place. Any team member may download these photos (if required) by accessing the Photobuck album that I have set up and clicking on the 'Download Album' button on the left-hand side of the screen. The album contains 40 images. Summary of Group Project.

Virtual Environments - Dan Jackson: Finalising the Animation
http://danjackson-virtualenvironments.blogspot.com/2009/12/finalising-animation.html
Virtual Environments - Dan Jackson. Monday, 30 November 2009. The last section of animation was the coupler and the associated pistons. These were animated simply through key-frames to match the animation of the driver-shafts. They are a more minor part to the animation, therefore even though they should be accurate, no further tweaking will be added to this. So this end now literally slides in and out of the socket instead of moving up and down as well. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Summary of Group Project. Week 12 – Reflection and Thoughts. View my complete profile. Wednesday, 18 November 2009. Heres a short clip. The next step is to animate the wheels on top of the dredger. Now as I assume it connects to the slide and. Pulls the buckets towards it. By that I've animated the wheels into a rotation, nice and slowly. It was a simple method to animate the wheels and so no problems occurred with that. To create the smoke, I simply begin at the Create tab. Select Geometry, find. The pa...
