For Avery: August 2014
http://foravery.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 23, 2014. I hope I'm not jinxing the progress by posting this, but you are finally seeming to get the hang of potty training! Today has gone very well- you only used one diaper (training pants, actually) at your request in the afternoon. We've gone with the "naked method" because it seems to be the one that works. Just hope we can get you to make the connection when it comes time for regular underwear. Here is a list of the words you know how to spell currently:.

For Avery: March 2014
http://foravery.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Wednesday, March 26, 2014. Last week, cousin Ricky spent his spring break with us and thus got to see a lot of you. Since you like to get 'puh-rised' (surprised), he started doing so by saying "Boo! Which cracked you up and you have now taken happily to saying as well. Mommy has been working a ton, so there isn't always much for me to report, sadly. Today I got the most time with you in the evening when I got home from working. We did laundry and housework- fun, huh? Where it says "Down, down, down, plop!

For Avery: October 2014
http://foravery.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 31, 2014. Yep, it's been too long again, I'm sorry. I really hope once mommy finishes her Master's degree that she can get back to doing these posts more often. It's honestly not that I forget- it's the lack of time. Anyhow, tonight was your 3rd Halloween! Despite the fact that just the other day it was nice enough to let you wear shorts and go to the park, today it snowed and was super windy! Back at home, we watched "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" and "Ghostbusters" while you at...

For Avery: April 2015
http://foravery.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 1, 2015. Yes, I know, this entry is dated for April fools' day, but it's not a joke entry :P. Daddy got a new car just before we went to Nana's to pick you up/spend his birthday weekend. It's all electric and really fun to drive. We would have taken it there, but it only has a range of about 65 miles per charge, thus not at practical for more than city driving. You love it, too, probably because you love cars and can see out the windows really well in it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Friday, November 7, 2014. I really thought the water would be too cool for you, but no, you were quite content to splash around and have a grand old time with it, so we let you burn out the rest of your energy this way :). Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Monday, November 3, 2014. A quick post of highlights of the first weekend of November:. You really were, too. You also tried to help me with cooking, which was going well until you pushed a little too hard on the pan and sent it tumbling to the floor....You a...

For Avery: February 2015

Thursday, February 19, 2015. Lately you have decided that you have to test how far you can long jump (much to mommy's delight and dismay, as she fears for injuries.) It started with jumping over daddy's Muppet throw blanket, I think, and has happened in different forms every day since. Today, you lined up some of your toys in a row to jump over, as if you were a monster truck jumping them lol. Kevin reported the following story happened while I was gone:. Tuesday, February 10, 2015. Playing in the snow.
