Lord of the Chainrings: In the beginning
http://mtb-ironman.blogspot.com/2015/03/in-beginning.html
Lord of the Chainrings. Has-Been Ironman competitor makes his was back to being fit and accomplishing lofty goals :). Thursday, March 12, 2015. A run around the airport, a 1 hour bike each way to work and a first time out run with a local triathlon club. That's what a good start looks like, the beginning of building the basis for momentum. It sure feels good running and riding in shorts and t-shirts while the people back east are still under snow. We live in paradise and am incredibly happy to be here.

One of those weeks was because I was sick. Caught a cold of course. The other week was just plain Holiday laziness. I'm ashamed, but it felt right at the time. I feel bad cuz I was on such a roll and had a solid base well on it's way to building. Anyways, I'm so happy to be kicking off the official training plan. This is for real now. Given ...

Most importantly, where am I going? 2012 Executive Summary: The year of taking chances and getting fat. So those pretty much sum up my e...

Lord of the Chainrings. Has-Been Ironman competitor makes his was back to being fit and accomplishing lofty goals :). Friday, March 23, 2012. 100km ride. again. Glad to be training full time again. My achilles is still store but it's a manageable pain. I'm pretty sure it's just scar tissue rubbing. I've been getting a ton of cycling in though. I've been squeezing in a few 100Km rides. Sure beats sitting on a trainer! Training Partner - Huge for these parts! I have a long ways to go. This my or may no...
