Vegan by nature: Making home made tofu

http://www.veganbynature.blogspot.com/2009/08/making-home-made-tofu.html

Vegan by discovery, and now that I've found out about the possibilities cooking has turned into a huge long-term experiment for me. Tuesday, 11 August 2009. Making home made tofu. In my area it has become increasingly difficult to purchase silken tofu and I was getting very aware of not having had "cheese"cake in quite some time. My only options were to pay a fortune in the city or, of course, make my own. Here's a rough recipe with instructions below:. Scald 400ml soya milk. Simmer for 5 mins.

Sherbet Head: October 2009

http://sherbetheadcreations.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 28 October 2009. It's been a busy month what with starting a new job, finishing the banner making workshops, starting a new project with Vegan by Nature and finding out that my membership application for Glasgow Craft Mafia has been accepted. I have a lot to write about but not a lot of time to write it in. I'm aiming to have you updated by the end of the day, but in the meantime here are some photos. I'll post more pictures when I'm finished. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Sherbet Head: January 2009

http://sherbetheadcreations.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html

Thursday, 15 January 2009. I've just finished a present for my friend Aimee which I intended to give her for Christmas. It took alot longer to complete than I expected, but I'm really pleased with the end result. I made this using a pattern created by the very talented Clare Nicolson. Sherbet Head: December 2008

http://sherbetheadcreations.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html

Monday, 15 December 2008. I spotted this antique sewing table. On Etsy this morning. Wednesday, 10 December 2008. If you want to destroy my sweater. I came across this short video on YouTube this morning by Sara Cox. It's called 'Don't let it all unravel' and the entire thing was created using knitting, or the unravelling of said knitting. I thought the shots where the ball of wool is supposed to be the moon were really strange looking, the movements reminded me a little bit of David Lynch.

Sherbet Head: July 2008

http://sherbetheadcreations.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html

Friday, 4 July 2008. A few months ago, I joined a yahoo group called Greenock Freecycle. Where you can 'recycle' unwanted items instead of throwing them away and no money is exchanged. I usually receive around 20 emails a day of people selling garden gnomes or electrical cables, but last week I came across an advert for an electrical typrewriter. I emailed back straight away and an hour later I was at a lovely woman called Christine's house collecting my new toy. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Monday, 31 August 2009. I haven't been sewing much recently, but here's some photos of my last batch of bookmarks:. Sunday, 2 August 2009. Here is some embroidery I've been working on for the last wee while. The pattern has been taken from an original stencil by Craig Ibarra. The outline is worked in back stitch. Once finished, this will be in block black and white, but I'm having to put this aside just now to prepare for a craft stall. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom.

http://sherbetheadcreations.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html

Wednesday, 23 September 2009. Banner workshop update and new project. I can't wait to see how it'll look. If you missed the first one, don't worry! You can always come along to one of the other sessions. I don't have to work until 5pm today so I decided to take some time off and dig out my knitting box. A while back I made an attempt at Annie Modesitt's Fiesta Tea Set but my hands were far too clumsy to work my way through her pattern. Wednesday, 2 September 2009. Banner Making sessions @ GWL. Sherbet Head: November 2009

http://sherbetheadcreations.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html

Monday, 16 November 2009. So, tomorrow is my Mum's bithday and I decided to make her present. She's a bit crazy about scarves, so I decided to have a go at making my first ever nuno felted scarf. I learned how to do this at the felting workshop I went along to run by Heartfelt by Liz. But that was a few months ago now. It took me around four hours to get the scarf finished, I forgot what a lengthy process it was! I also knit these little hearts from a pattern by Mochimochi. To decorate the gift bag:.

Chips, Dips, and Fries. Strawberry Banana Smoothie Bowl. January 5, 2017. Today I’m going to be sharing a very simple breakfast recipe (or any meal really)! Smoothie bowls are so filling and healthy. They are a great way to start your morning and ensure that you will stay full until lunch 🙂. 1/2 cup of frozen strawberries. 1/2 cup of frozen pineapple (this is optional, you could also just use 1 cup of strawberries). 1 cup of plant milk. Add the strawberry mixture to the banana mixture and stir together.
