Virtual Environments 2008
Tuesday, 13 October 2009. Wednesday, 29 October 2008. UV Co-ordinates part 2. Ideally we would like to fit the ear into the gap for the ear in the face map. However just using a 3D painting tool we could easily place the ear somewhere else. Lets just clean up the results a little bit. What you want to avoid in your UV layout is avoid ambiguous quads. Thursday, 23 October 2008. Tutorial 9 - UV Coordinates. This process is quite lengthy and will be handled in two parts. We are going to use cylindrical proj...

Virtual Environments
Thursday, 11 December 2008. So, we have now finally finished the project and have put everything together using Premier Pro. This project has been quite interesting and fun to do, although stressful at the same time! I enjoyed making the toy train move along with the light shining, I felt this was quite enjoyable to watch so should be no problem to entertain children with this advert! As well as using the Biped (again this could be improved on had I figured out how to fix the envelopes problem). The fina...

Virtual Environments: Is one life enough? Just another WordPress.com weblog. IOLE 15 Class Presentations. April 12, 2015. We need to schedule class presentations. Since there are so many groups, we are planning to spread the presentations across three meetings: 23 April, 30 April, and 7 May. March 28, 2015. The second p...

Virtual Environments
Sunday, 30 October 2011. Thursday, 20 October 2011. Moreover, I could not make the ear due to the side picture I had, as the ear is hidden by hear. Generally talking, this module is very interesting and it helps to develop 3Ds max skills every year better and better. I feel more confident using the program, I also learnt new modelling techniques and I enjoyed the assessment. Then I was creating a bump map from the colour map. Later I came to Image-Ajustments-Levels, where I could make it lighter or darker.

Using SCVMM 2012 with the NetApp SMI-S Agent (Part 1). May 9, 2011. Not having any experience up until now with the SMI-S agents that SCVMM 2012 relies on to communicate with storage subsystems, I thought it would be fun to run through the installation and configuration so I can play with managing a Hyper-V MNS Cluster AND its NetApp subsystem through VMM. Completed the Data ONTAP SMI-S Agent Setup Wizard). A bit of reading later, I was making some progress. It seems JRE 5.0 is a pre-req, so I hu...Folde...
