The Kenya Kesho Trust creates job opportunities for ladies in the village who sell us ‘Ufutas’ sesame seed sweets, which are packaged and sold to tourists through Charlie Claws. As a means of self-help. One sweet lady in the village has gone from zero income to approx US $130 per month through the sale of ufutas to the Kenya Kesho Trust. Another, who packages the sweeties has also gone from zero income to US $130 per month.
