Notes And Lines: Race Report - Ironman Coeur D'Alene
http://notesandlines.blogspot.com/2009/06/race-report-ironman-coeur-dalene.html
Friday, June 26, 2009. Race Report - Ironman Coeur D'Alene. Or, "Charlie Brown vs. Plate Tectonics". What an epic day. (Sorry in advance, the report will mirror it! Meredith dropped me off as close as she could get, and I walked in the rest of the way with my special needs bags. And my path happened to take me right to body marking. Score. But the woman I ended up with told me I needed to get rid of my sweatshirt. Why? I was glad I showed up early, as it let me not panic too much through all of this.

http://snowygrl.blogspot.com/2009/05/vancouver-half-marathon-2009.html
May 4, 2009. Vancouver Half Marathon 2009. Specifically told me to "to run hard but not stress about your time." So I had some heart rates to kind of stay near and that sort of thing but overall a rather loose race plan. After watching the sounders Game on wifi at a Starbucks. It was a huge shock but the Sheraton did not have wifi - what kind of hotels doesn't have wifi these days. Luckily when we woke up it was dry and the sun was trying to come out - Kyle and I prepped everything, went to the bathroom ...

What Heights of Love
What Heights of Love. Friday, October 7, 2011. We had a great, inexpensive family fun night tonight! We needed a cheap dinner option, so it was Costco to the rescue! The four of us ate almost an entire Costco cheese pizza. Then we went to Grafton-Stovall Theater on JMU's campus and watched the new "Winnie the Pooh" movie. The boys were FREE and Tom and I were $2.50 each. Can't beat that! Love making those memories together! My favorite moment - watching the boys' faces during the movie. Priceless. Tennys...

What Heights of Love
What Heights of Love. Some of the best hymns come with a glory story, like this one : ). The man was Horatio Spafford, and as he crossed the sea to meet his grieving wife, he penned the words,. When peace, like a river, attendeth my way. When sorrows like sea billows roll. Whatever my lot, Thou has taught me to say. It is well, it is well with my soul. What could anchor the mind and heart of a man in tragedies like these and free him to sing, well, when everything he had was lost? 8220;Even if”. Those tw...

It's A Process
Tuesday, March 6, 2012. Still a mystery to me. Oh hai. I'm prograstinating at work severely. Blame it on my boss being away, the vague nature of my project, or maybe it's the first trimester fogginess? None of those are likely, and if by chance lightening were about to strike, I'm sure I'd still find a way to be miserable about them. I left it too late. I got stuck. I need to work on dealing with it. No-one is happy in their jobs, right? Posted by West End Girl. Wednesday, December 14, 2011. This week ha...
